Thanks to Vincent for organizing such a great model shoot. Thanks to the models too. And also everyone who attended the photo shoot. Being my first time shooting models, I must say that I was quite 'blur' and don't know much what to to. I must admit that the experience gained from this shoot is farther greater than all the readings that you can get from the net or anywhere else.

Sorry that I have to leave early as I have to go arrange for Mom's day later in the evening. Haven't got the chance to really go through my pictures yet, just browsed through some and the pics are not as great as those posted here. Will try to upload a couple soon when I get the chance.

Btw, thanks TheVOIP for the 50mm f1.4 and 70-200mm f2.8L poison. And also the 580 Speedlite poison from my groupmate too. Might need to start eating grass lo ..... icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Being a photographer, I feel we must not only be able to  take great photos, we must also be able to direct the model to achieve either the look they want or the look we want in our minds.

Different models will have different characteristics and thus must be taken differently.
I think its the photographer's job to ensure that we are able to take the models according to their respective strong points.
100% agree. And so far only one guy can do the job. His nick is MyJunk with 24-70L and 135L notworthy.gif

He can bring up the atmosphere when we ran out of ideas... Although sometime we wonder if he is really male... But we do respect him for his passion... notworthy.gif

That's whatvi learned from this session. Unfortunately l, I think im not as successful.
Need to brush up on mu skills. Havin good lens only makes the errors and mistakes more pronounced.
Ya... Me too.. I found cannot simply use one focal length to take all pictures... cry.gif

Actually Pekeliling Flat is the first highest flat ever build in Malaysia. Lots of chinese people called it 17 lau. It's a historical place for me since i grow up together with this flat. It's really sad to hear that DBKL is going to abolish it soon. There are also one Thai temple and Malay mosque build so closed together. It shows "perpaduan" among the people in Malaysia. Every time the Malay finished sembahyang in their mosque, they will come out and sit under the mango tree in the temple. What a peaceful sight to see. Wanna know why i know? I'm a frequent visitor of that temple lo sweat.gif .. For animal lover out there, there are more than 20 stray dogs in the temple there. All under a good care of the monks over there (FYI, there are some crazy drug addicts who kill dogs for fun) .My dad always provide food for all the dogs there. They are so cute and they didn't bite. If you guys have some free time, do visit the temple and don't forget to bring some dog food ya. icon_rolleyes.gif
