I have HP NC4200, i bought a NC4400 mainboard which is 99% identical and think i can replace the board + cpu for some upgrade. I manage to install the system, but it will not start if the LCD cable is connected. Remove the LCD cable the system will start like normal.

The LCD cable 100% fit the socket on the NC4400 mainboard. It is a working LCD when i connect it back to NC4200 everything is ok.

Both NC4200 and NC4400 use 1024x768 screen.

Can you solve this?

P/S: i don have the adapter for NC4400 because I just found out that the connector is different. I can powerup only by battery or dock station.
