Thanks!

I think it's probably cause of the thick brown thing on the top right corner of the photo.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback! smile.gif I guess the first one is quite phailed laugh.gif

Lesson learnt: Pay attention to the background and make sure its not distracting the viewer from the main subject.

ya have to pay a lot attention viewing ur viewfinder..
no1 comment about ur 1st pic because of the colour not bright enough and its too soft.. compare with ur 2nd photo...
its consider very good for starting...

keep it up, post more photo, it will help u improve...

Thanks for the comments smile.gif Yea, I realize I'm always not paying enough attention to the viewfinder. I now consciously remind myself to look into every detail in the viewfinder before fully pressing that shutter button.

I want to shoot and post more also but nothing interesting to shoot at home laugh.gif

Was trying to capture the pattern of all the leaves leading into the branch. Maybe should've used a smaller aperture?

#4 is a good effort but you probably need more contrast between the subject and the background. At the moment, the subject is too similar to the background.

edited: noticed the wrong number smile.gif

Thank you for the comments smile.gif A bit tight means I should leave more empty space around the subject?

Will be going to Langkawi this wed. Hopefully can get some nice shots smile.gif
