there is no define duration of cracking the new batches of 906. It all boils down on the complexity and the workability of the phone. The more restriction imposed, the long it will take to crack the whole services or function. So its all a gamble. if you can't wait, get the phone, and hope the current bypass sim can work flawlessly or at least give you a good reception for telco services. Or you can wait

hey thanks for your help.

so from what i understand it means that i can still use the current type of bypass sim to use on the 906 series? i mean atleast can make calls and sms? (put aside the good reception part)

lol sorry another noob question here.

just that feel tempted to buy a j phone but dunno where to start.

don't get so tempted 1st.
U need to at least understand the culture of J-Phone.

This is what they told me before when I was also as tempted as u.

owning exotic J-Phone and owning local SE/NK/SS is like owing a Ferari and Proton.

J-Phone=Ferari
SE/NK/SS=Proton

Ferari in Malaysia u hv certain limitation like there are certain area with high and huge bump which your Ferari kinda hard to cross doh.gif also certain area like going up a high slope in shopping center well i guess u understand la.

Then proton i guess not much problem whith it.

So same goes to J-Phone where you will have certain limitation but you can obtain no limitation in term of stability and functionaity from local phone over exotic J-Phone.

But for me I am satisfied with J-Phone performence and exotic design so I am so glad to get one of it even it cost me more than local SE/NK/SS with no limitation.

It is because I love J-Phone SoftBank 920P wub.gif  wub.gif (effect of heavily poisoned by Panasonic88)

yes i understand what u mean man lol jphones=ferrari? laugh.gif man then i need to own a ferrari(jphone) now.
from what i understand that the softbank phones are more stable then the docomo's? so its fine with me.
bsides i dont mms too lol is been like how many years since i mms( when the time maxis is charging free for every mms) so it should be fine for me too.

in the end im truly aware of the limitation but i still got some part that im not that understand ( the by pass sim part) cause i realy very poisoned by the 906 series even i can find only a few pic of it lol. thats y i wanna ask is the current by pass sim can be use on the newer 906 series? if the waiting period is long maybe i shud just settle for the current model.

lol after searching info from the web ive been poisoned by the 920P too drool.gif drool.gif damm n my friend is also poisoned by the pink 920sh.

1. support both GSM/3G
2. yellow D905i is rare, yup, should depends on the supplier, no harm trying, but i like white D905i more biggrin.gif

D905i looks like W900 in my opinion biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ilikehandphones @ May 22 2008, 09:28 PM)
as for question number 2....it is hard to find a yellow d905i....though supplier can find it u have to prepare to pay a high price for it...my friend got it for me for a fee of sgd 800 without hypersim...took him 2 weeks to find...so if u wanna get a d905i...it is better to get it early as mitsubishi has stop producing this model already....go luck on ur hunt for the yellow d905i
*
wait wait, u mean u need to pay a fee of RM1887 for finding this phone? sweat.gif that means include the price of the phone itself will be almost 4k? blink.gif blink.gif that expensive?
hop this is not true cry.gif cry.gif

1) Practically only usable in GSM. In 3G mode, you can make calls but not receiving any calls.

2) Yes.
