Just wondering if you guys tried farming Sunwell trash?

I did once with a PUG in my server and its quite doable. Doesnt really need any super geared raid to do it.
As long as you have a minimum 5 mages and a well geared t5-ish tank and good healers, its pretty doable.
Its more of an execution fight.

What we did was epic drops are auctioned among players. Highest bidder wins and gold is shared among other raid members who did not receive loot.
So far we had over 7 Sunmotes (random rolls), 1 Tailoring DPS epic chest pattern, 1 engineering pattern, 2 Shammy ele gloves, 1 Shivering Felspine and other random gems.

Ya, we did in around 3hours+.

My group did the 1st pack. Hunter MD the group from faraway without aggroing protector, pulling them somewhere near entrance.
Having lots of mage is a bonus. (5 mages minimum)
Just sheep watever that is sheepable and single DPS burn down 1 by 1.
Dont kill them all, keep 1 sheeped.
Quickly discuss and distribute loot while the thing is sheeped.
Quickly run out and reset the trash pack.


Rinse and repeat.

For spellcasters the googles,robe and handwraps are way better than t6 minus the stamina.
