I bought a Huawei E8278 LTE 4G 3G USB Modem Router Stick 150Mbps from you through Lelong and it arrived yesterday. Can you enlighten me why there is a difference in specs on your advertised website and on the box in respect of the following:

1.
Website : Hwawei E8278
Box : Telstra Pre-paid 4G USB + WIFI

Question : Are they the same product?

2.
Website : Supports 4G: LTE FDD 2600/1800/900/850 MHz & LTE TDD 2600 MHz
3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS 2100/1900/900/850 MHz

Box : Supports 4G: Tri Band 1800/2600/900
UMTS/HSPA+ Quad Band 3G 850/900/1900/2100 MHz

Question : The box does not state support for LTE TDD. Nevertheless, can it support LTE TDD as sometimes I travel to other countries?

Answering your questions as below

1. Yes, they are the same product (Huawei E8278) but the unit was originally bundled for Telstra as you were aware during your purchase.

2. The device supports the bands/frequencies listed below but on the packaging Telstra have only highlighted the bands/frequencies that are being operated by them.
Therefore it will only function on 2600MHz for LTE TDD, otherwise it will fall back to 3G or 2G provided frequencies are supported in the respective countries.

4G: LTE FDD 2600/1800/900/800 MHz & LTE TDD 2600 MHz
3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS 2100/1900/900/850 MHz

3. Yes, the device will support up to 10 devices over WiFi as we have upgraded to a newer firmware which is capable to do so.

4. The model of the device is Huawei E8278s-602 as you can verify this by opening up the top cover where you insert the SIM card and Micro SD card.

The item is certainly capable of 4G LTE Cat4 up to 150Mbps as we have sold plenty of the same model and we can easily achieve 50 to 70Mbps on a typical speedtest.
