it's an isolator, duh!
a switch and fuse, capable of handling 30amp of electricity at 415 volt, and with 3-phase connections 30A, 415V, 3-phase isolator - what machine is equipped with that? an AHU? a 4 bar air compressor? a 10hp sewage pump? This post has been edited by lucifah: May 10 2008, 12:21 AM |

I think this is what you wanted to know.
If you're buying a house.. 1-phase = those lower voltages power 3-phase = provide more power source .. which means support more airconds etc. edited: misunderstood the concept. thx lucifah This post has been edited by tzyy: May 11 2008, 02:17 AM |

QUOTE(Intermezzo @ May 10 2008, 12:50 AM) correct.3 phase =blue, red, yellow, neutral, earth 1 phase - live, neutral, earth QUOTE(jones007 @ May 10 2008, 01:50 AM) wrong.single phase is still at least 2 wire or 3-wire for grounded connections QUOTE(tzyy @ May 10 2008, 04:01 AM) I think this is what you wanted to know. totally wrong. any phase wiring can be overhead or underground. it is just personal preferences or requirementsIf you're buying a house.. 1-phase = those electric wire on top you always see connected into your house roof 3-phase = underground electric wiring.. which provide more power source .. which means support more airconds etc. 3-phase can carry more load and is usually for large homes or industrial uses. single phase is simpler to install and is normally found in house |
