hey, i want to ask..how much izit dinner in TGI Friday?rough estimates per person..and also will they make b'day boy to stand on the chair?i know they do this to gal..but i am not so sure 4 guys..

Depends what you order...two ppl ..estimate about RM 150. Yes they make the bday person stand.

oooo I like TGIF. For two (minus alcoholic drinks) can come up to RM80 or so. And yes for your b'day, whether your a boy or girl they make you stand on the chair. They'll give you a free slice of cake too.

2 fella prepare 150 for all 3 course meals. free bday cake tho XD

i think rm100 can already....

TGIF has a promo RM39.90++ for a three course meal - appetizer, main course & dessert. I usually go for that.

but that 3 course meal doesnt hv their jd steaks. One main meal of steak/ribs would cost RM30 onwards.

Their cocktails are really nice also, around 25 (not too sure) for a huge mugs of cocktails

Maybe u should just go for the set.The portion is quite large..Share with a person or two...3 of us ordered one set and one main dish..Only 25 per person..nice..

That day I spent around RM100 at TGI Pavilion for 2 person.
I forgot what I ordered already, but I order 1 set with appetizer, main dish and dessert, a plate of chicken steak and ice lemon tea.

Coincidently, there are 2 group of people are celebrating birthday, but I didn't notice what they did. I just know that they sing song. It's quite nice to celebrate birthday there

yeah depends. you order JD steaks and such and a few stuff more, easily go beyond RM 150.

depends on whether the couple wants to minimize cost or not.

both person order 3 course meal and each one order the drinks (like coke) would not breach RM 100.

but the 3 course meal quite a lot leh. if 2 person order you'll get 2 appetizer, 2 main course and 2 dessert. so moderate appetite people, take note. don't over order.

FYI i had a totally satisfying meal yesterday at TGIF, spent less than RM 50 but 2 person eating.

well i personally work at TGIF penang,if you and ur bf is not big appetite,then a 3 course meal would already do the trick,especially when i take the Mud Pie as the dessert cos it's very filling . . .oh,if its b'day then u'll get a Malt cake for free (we do it in penang) . . . .so end up with a apetizer,entree and 2 cakes. . . .it should be fine under Rm39.90 b4 5% gov tax and 10% service charge. . ..if u feel like wanna get some booze then the ultimate drinks cost you Rm24.90 . . .both the ultimate and the 3 course meal are huge so i advise u to share,tats wat i always told couple when they wanna order 2 sets. . . oh and try to stay away form the soft drinks cos kinda not worth it,just get plain water should be ok,if u wanna look good with drinks order thenjust add up few ringgit and get smoothies or flings. . .if no drinks order then it's just under RM50 with the 3 course,but if u order ala carte it can shoot up to RM 70-80 depends on the entree. . .hope this'll help.

last time tgif have jack daniel chicken in their 3 course. its very large portion!!!!!

is that so hard to celebrate a b'day? if cant afford think of others.... why wanna spend something beyond your capabilities. If he loves u... he wont be bother where you gonna take him to but the matter how sincere you are and how much love you pour on him. chill out mylady.

penang got how many branch? I went to QB Mall branch. saw some lenglui waitresses

and that's the branch that i had beef ribs in the 3 course package.

they still have it everywhere la.

owh haha.. I'm not really that sure also because i'm from mainland. So far i think only Qbay mall have it.

2 person will not come less than RM100.
if 2person, you better have around RM200 in your wallet.
but all depends on the food.

Trust me the food is nice and Delicious and you will love it.
And Yes! Either a girl o boy... he of she have to stand up the chair but u can request if you don't want too..

RM 100++ i also tried before - either it's you order many types, eat until bloat. or both ordering those meal that cost RM 50 - 80 each.

just 2 person order a Colby burger, or Buffalo wings and plain water you see how much it can be.

but if u wan, can order others, rm 100-200 will beenough la. If u wan safe, ur gf go there scared order many things, bring rm300 lo, comfirm safe.

or just bring calculator

don't forget the 15% tax.

anyway you can visit the website TGI Menu but it's under construction, you are not in luck.. well, there's one small section just like they said, rm39.99 for 3 course meal.. so you can consider it..

Chili's is good too, i frequent there as well but hey, we're going to go off topic if we talk about it further.

anyway just had TGIF again - i'm addicted to their burger. LOL.

ok, sticking to the topic IMHO, if you want a more romantic/relaxed atmosphere, go to chili's, they serve the same food as TGIF, but in TGIF, be prepared to get a headache (I did!!!) coz they'll be shouting and singing and cheering and what not... And if you're going just the two of you, do you want all the shouting, singing, etc...? Chili's will also give a free cake (or brownie or something...) for birthdays... both their menus are similar and cost wise is also same... Just a suggestion Anyway, have fun and Happy B'day to ur bf

shouting and singing not often la, but seriously have you seen how lame is Chili's when it comes to celebrating birthdays? i witnessed it myself, aiyoh lousy man. TGIF did their singing and cheering very well.

also when it comes to service, TGIF is generally better.

Well, my experiences with Chili's are way better than TGIF. And I still prefer Chili's food to TGIF... Chili's triple play beats TGIF three-for-all hands down... And call me old, but I prefer a relaxed, chilled out birthday dinner than a noisy hyper celebration But hey, this is about the TS, not about us hehehe
