general plot it seems  could be.

whose's next? the genre will change slightly given justin lin (lots of style, stunts border on unbelievable to audacious (some claims ridiculous).

With James Wan (SAW), i sure FF7 will be more bloodied, sure the 'family' theme (not blood family) will be continued.

I like your assessment that maybe ian shaw (jason statham) crosses over the good side (but i doubt).

my guess Hobbs will play a less significant role in Fast 7 (said may have scheduling conflict, of maybe pressing for more $$$$ since the franchise is making $$$$)

Speaking off since it's back in LA scene (origins of F&F franchise), will we see the return or MORE JDM imports???

Tokyo Drift was unrelated at all to any of the franchise.   
Thought that it was just director`s effort to try new stuff out of the box.

Anyway, very excited and can` t wait for Furious 7 !!!!
