I just pass by Galleria at Jalan Pahang and it's very jam there because lots of police/police car are like surrounding the plaza. There are also lots of passer-by there standing near the plaza. Anyone know what's going on over there?

Second Suspect In Couple's Shooting Fatally Shot By Police


KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- Police shot dead a man believed to be involved in the killing of another man and the shooting of his wife in separate incidents six days ago, in Jalan Pahang Wednesday night.

In the 10.05 incident, the suspect, M. Yusuf Usman, 34, from Acheh, Indonesia, died from three gunshots to his chest and face.

Selangor CID chief SAC II Mazlan Mansor, when met at the scene, said the suspect was traced in Chow Kit at about 9pm before being followed by police from the Serious Crime Division.

"The suspect who was clad in T-shirt and jeans was followed until the Galleria in Jalan Pahang. When he was asked to stop, he refused and drew out a pistol but police fired on him."

Mazlan said police seized a Walter pistol from the suspect.

He said police believed that with Wednesday night's incident, the killing of a taxi driver in Kuang, Rawang and the shooting of his wife in Jalan Gombak Lama recently, had been solved.

Meanwhile, a man believed also to be an Indonesian, was arrested in a room at a shoplot to see whether he had any links with the dead suspect and Wednesday night's incident.

Last Thursday, in Chow Kit, police shot dead an Achehnese man believed to be the main culprit in the killing of the taxi driver and the shooting of his wife.
