I'm not the least bit interested in applying for this ONE Platinum card.  Btw, for those with the card, do U even get other 'Platinum' benefits such as travel insurance up to RM1m/2m, etc etc?
*
Basically ONE Platinum card is a cash rebate card.

BHP petrol 2% rebate
Carrefour 4% rebate, with it's structure. i thinks only when u purchase more than RM100 then only entitled. long time din check the rebate for Carrefour.

n also, there are a lots of other rebates.
more infor you can check here. biggrin.gif

TM point only accepts CC for TM bills.

For TNB bills, you have to go to Kedai Tenaga.

Not sure with Astro bills.
*
yes.
i paid b4.

Thanks for the answer...
1 quick question....M2U credit card accept TNB bill?

Added on June 9, 2008, 1:45 pm
You mean TM point accept credit card for TNB and ASTRO?
*
i was agreed with what David83 mention.

TM point, accept CC on TM bills.
TNB bills need to go to kedai tenaga.

for MBB CC, cant reply u, waits others to reply.

btw, previously i have done my auto debits on TNB bills which is my landlord name, and u just need to fill in the form n submit at kedai tenaga. tht's if u plan to stay long in ur house.

i thinks, when u have saving account n credit card online together, the bank is preferable you pay using the saving account, not the CC.

same thing happened with my HSBC online banking. i cant use my HSBC CC online banking to pay the bills but have to use the saving account.

It's not like that.
It is whether the merchant wanting to accept credit card payment or not, because the amount will only be credited into their account on next working day, fastest for CC transaction.
For payment using savings/current, the amount will be transfer instantly and reflected in the current day transaction.

Hey, HSBC savings/powervantage/premier does give you points for bill payment as well, so CC or not, it's just fine.
*
yes. paying via savings/current account is transfer instantly.

btw, my HSBC powerVantage is start charging me RM5 per months. it's time to abondan the accounts.

QUOTE(navilink @ Jun 10 2008, 08:06 AM)
how fast can i cancel a citibank card if i applied for one? hehe...actually just wanna get the free prize only sweat.gif
*
how fast is all depend on ur etics. the sales person wont get his commision if the card is being cancelled for less than 6 months. not sure whether also applicable to Citibank or not.

@Godek,
If the merchant hasn't tied up with any banks, U could alwiz check with the existing Credit Cards U hold; except I don't know if 36 months is applicable; mostly 12 months I hear.

On another note, I saw in the paper last night, RHB now gives 5% rebate off at petrol stations [it's applicable for 1 of their cards; I forgot].  Am not sure if there are conditions attached.  I feel the Citibank Shell card is worthless for those who doesn't carry forward balance.
*
wah,,, RHB so desperate. 5% is so tempting.

@vin_ann,
If they want people to start using their cards, they need to give back a little more to the consumers - and other banks are oredi giving a 2% rebate... Ah well, I doubt it'll get anything more than 10% though.  I don't hold any RHB CC so makes no difference to me  biggrin.gif

Wanted to ask, can merchant pass the charges to consumer?
I mean if after the seller & buyer have agreed to trade the item for rm100. Then when the buyer wanted to pay by credit card, the seller say need to pay more. If cash = rm100
*
if u got low yat plaza, u will face this.
normally, they will put in the additional 2% charges on ur invoices.

while on other hand, previously, on Perodua service centre, consumer also need to bear the finance charges, but recently they waived, dun know y.

so any good cC which have free for life like the DA card?? i already have the DA card, just waiting to look for one more card which is free for life like it
*
1 is not enough?
basically, other CC is offering For For Life with some terms n conditions applied.
so it's not really a truly free for life.

perhaps, mayb you can try UOB One Platinium, it's need 6 transactions per year for Visa n master for each card.
QUOTE(bee993 @ Jun 15 2008, 05:28 PM)
today just receive a email told mi that after every transaction at petrol station must remember to press clear....if not the petrol station staff can use our card to make another purchase.....wonder this is true or not?

coz i remember after we put down the pump receipt will cum out to complete transaction....

thanks.......
*
e mail mostly can not believed 1. perhaps, you wan to try it?

for my current situation, the maximum utilisation of CC benefits is UOB ONE Plat.

pump petrol, n shopping at Carrefour - routine transactions.
others, GSC movie.

Good practice. but in this situation, u have to bring out all your cards. sweat.gif
perviously when shopping, i was also survey which shop got any discount for which card, then only decide to take the card out for shopping.
