@David83, I don't know about that but when I checked @ 1U's Maybankard Centre, I was given the above information. Obviously the difference is that I'm not an existing Maybank CC holder.
I also know that if U oredi haf 2 MBB CCs and apply for the 3rd, U will get the annual fee waived on the 3rd card.

@danlhct, U don't need to wait till a TP Fair to put in ur application for a MBB Amex Credit Card. Like I said, there's a 2 year waiver off anual fees for this card currently [NA for Platinum]
@arsenal, Conversion rate is the same throughout all banks as it follows the international exchange rate at point of purchase.
@hye, I believe the exchange is calculated on date of transaction. HK Disneyland has a rather 'canggih' system which converts HKD into MY immediately - U will know exactly how much ur paying in MY when U sign on the docket.

@danlhct, I don't know if there were administration charges <perhaps it was built in oredi?> but yeah, like U.. I was pretti impressed too. I thought that was the norm in HK but when I got out of Disneyland, I realised it was onli available @ Disneyland! Still... I think all merchants should implement such a system

@thtan, It probably doesn't make bu$ine$$ sense to haf 2 teams of people working on the same thing; so the current system is quite alright. You're right, there's really not much difference using the Platinum Priority Line and the usual line - oK, perhaps with the Platinum line U don't need to wait as long. As to the 'Elite' line - well, I haven't tried it before The banks give out 2 separate numbers cause it paints a different perception to the public

@arsenal, If ur cousin is using her UK based credit card here in MY, of course the transactions are showed in RM; that's our local currency mah, shouldn't that be the case?

@David83, That is for M2U, not for MBB Credit Card.
I believe vin_ann's 1st post mentioned there is an Administrative rate of 0.5% for MBB Credit Cards.

@David83, But it doesn't state whether the Administrative Charges are applicable. Like I said, I'm no MBB Credit Card user so it's not possible for me to call to check - and haven't I oredi done enough

@kapitan, If U swiped USD5000, U will feel the 1% charge. But like U said, let the bank earn some $ - I'm not complaining. I use UOB when I travel and there's $0 charges on that

@kapitan, Of course! Because sometimes U spend that kind of $ onli because U didn't bring sufficient cash to purchase something Like I said, I'm not the one who's complaining about the Admin charges though I think banks shouldn't burden us with it. If some banks can do it FOC, Y can't the rest do it too?

@dr2k3, If U want to know the actual benefits, I suggest U get onto the website and get the information; it's not possible to list them all out there but the basic benefits are more or less the same.
Min requirement if I'm not mistaken is 24000 p/annum so that's not difficult to achieve.
As to KFC & McD's i didn't even know they accepted Visa / MasterCard.

@TeraPox, If U bother to read the small print, existing UOB Platinum cardholders are also part of their Preferred Platinum so the benefits are across the board for all Plat holders.

@TeraPox, It's not like Ur gonna be utilising it. Also, I don't know how I can fully utilise my CL so all these 'unlimited' CL and 'no preset spending limit' doesn't tempt me.
