@jeff_ckf,
It's not been activated as yet, isn't it? It was just a 'suggestion', of which I believe will only cause inconvenience to the People. |

@TeraPox,
I'm quite sure they'll do something about it - remember the time when Petrol stations weren't going to accept our 'smart' credit cards? |

I don't think it's viable or fair to ask people to pay petrol using Touch N Go - not everyone holds a Touch N Go card. Also, for us to us Touch N Go services, we pay more [car parks charges 10% more if we use Touch N Go instead of cash].
I want to clarify some thing - I got my Citibank bill yesterday and upon checking, there now is this additional column "Current Month Finance Charges Rate" - what I want to know is, Y does mine start @ 18% and not at 15%? I thought they would take the last 12 months? Or does everyone start at 18%? |

@arsenal,
If it's to make payment via MyKad that's fine; not Touch N Go, IMHO. I wouldn't want to be topping up $ in MyKad so I guess I'll just have to carry cash with me *sigh* |

@razorzx66,
Yes U can report the card as lost card but U will still be liable for all transactions made prior to the report. And the police isn't going to back-date that report date for U. @jeff_ckf, I oredi haf a big enough wallet; I just need some cash |

@razorzx66,
I'd been taught to live with good conscience. If U want to do that, go ahead and do not let us stop U but I don't think this topic is appropriate to be spoken of esp on a public forum. |

@jeff_ckf,
In that case, U shouldn't need to worry about how much card slots U haf in that new wallet right?! And don't forget, U'll need one for NRIC and Driving License, etc etc. iYah just get the conventional man wallet; with card slots and no coin slots - coins are too heavy and sloppy. Just put the coins in ur pocket and transfer it to the car when u get into the car Alright.. I'm going for a long lunch @ 1U now. Ta! This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jun 25 2008, 11:55 AM |

@iluvena,
Finance charges aren't based on accumulative balance; it'll be charged based on posting date, depending when U made that transaction. Leave it up to the banks to do the calculation. |

@iluvena,
No the charges won't be the same as there is no more interest free period. If U do not pay late, U shouldn't be charged for late finance/payment charges. |

@Syd G,
Now that we're on charged cards, I really want to know what's the difference between the MBB Amex Charge and the MBB Amex Credit Cards. I mean, what are the difference in terms of benefits? I know the usual thing about no credit limit on charge cards [which I know is total bull] & needing to pay the bill at the end of the month but other than that, what's the difference? |
