@jeff_ckf,
I believe the E-Statements are combined hence U are able to view all the statements. As to Account Summary, U should onli be able to view the Account ur logged onto.

@jeff_ckf,
No, the logins aren't universal - there is this one universal login though but I haven't activated mine as yet. If U login through a particular card, u will onli be able to do transactions using that card.

@jeff_ckf,
Yes U will need to create another login account for the other card. If ur going to axe the card, I suggest U don't. The last time Citivbank axed my account I had to set everything up again and I couldn't use the same login !! *ish*

@DDSFan8,
I'll PM u some salesperson's contact details in a bit.

@TeraPox,
So, what'd U want to know about it?

@Riddhy,
I don't think many cards would allow u to spend v much above ur given credit limit. Also, Y would U want such high limit when U know ur going to get urself in debt?

@kapitan,
I hope U don't fall into the same trap as ur friend. I'll be doom if I owed the bank RM25k in CC debts and RM30k in personal loans *gulps*. Having high CL is not good for those who aren't able to control their own spending habits.

@vin_ann,
I was at 1U earlier and checked out the Maybankard Center - the lady wasn't too helpful so I didn't end up applying for a CC. I think I'll just stick with HSBC or UOB.

@Riddhy,
AMEX Platinum is by invitation only and apparently U need RM130k p/annum income before they will consider; or so they say.

As to UOB Preferred Platinum, I'm not sure - U should check their website.

Y do U need a platinum card? U haven't quite answered us. With no income, I doubt banks will give U a credit card. Also, requirements are probably different for foreigners. U also need to be >21 to hold a principal card here in MY.

@vin_ann,
If U don't qualify then don't qualify lah. Y bother with so many credit cards?!

@Aeon_Clock,
Lady was friendly at first, but turned a little unfriendly when I asked about their Platinum cards. She was 'helpful' in answering some of my queries but unhelpful in wanting to give me more information about the credit card I wanted. Instead, she asked me to put RM100k to become a Priority Banker and with that, I just might get an invitation for their MBB Amex Plat.

@Riddhy,
vin_ann has a point. If it's for emergency purposes, ask the folks to issue u a supplementary. If ur folks refuse to issue U one, it's probably because they know ur spendthrift habits and do not want U to get into debt.

@Aeon_Clock,
I should qualify for the Amex Platinum except i need an invitation. With them being so difficult, I've decided I'll just stick with the other banks I have. MBB CC isn't really that difficult to obtain, I think.

@JamesPond,
Citibank?

@JamesPond,
Before U purchase the item, call up the bank to check. Sometimes they be able to give it to U at 0% interest rates for 12 months. I don't know if there's an administrative cost though.

I usually don't like going for the EPPs, instead pay for stuff I purchase in full.

@JamesPond,
Complementary cards are complimentary from the bank to complement ur savings/credit/banking account.

@JamesPond,
Most of the time, it's either Platinum or a category higher. For example, HSBC offers their Premier Banking customers their HSBC Premier Mastercard which is a category higher than that of Platinum.

@kuya,
U could alwiz call up the bank to ask for waiver. If they give it to u then good, otherwise u can just cancel it.

@vin_ann,
He could have just picked up ur number from some directory, or perhaps ur name card? U shouldn't reveal any information to him.

@vin_ann,
U shouldn't be too surprised if ur number's circulating out there in the market place. Sometimes it could just be a cold call where they're hoping to get some biz smile.gif

I get lots of calls esp from Hotels asking me to join their membership programme and sometimes wonder where they obtained my number from but I've given up asking them how they got my number so I usually just declined the calls.

@JamesPond,
It is possible to make such flexi-pay conversion to ur Citibank credit card. A couple of my friends been doing it but he adviced to call the bank beforehand before making the purchase.

I believe he's managed to get them converted at 0% interest for 12 months.

@vin_ann,
Ah well... just need to live with it, right?! wink.gif

@David83,
I didn't know rebate would be given even if bill was paid promptly each month.
