QUOTE(ReadyCompanies @ Jun 23 2008, 04:43 PM) Those that made full payment on time every time Enjoy a lower TPS asl low as 14% per annum I believe for those who make full payment monthly won't even bothered about the 14% right? As they make full payment every month and there's no way for bank to charge them the 14% (except CC annual fees).

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 09:52 PM) @Shinichi, U too can start ensuring u pay up ur bills at the end of each month. Yea, what I worry most is forgot to pay my CC bill. Cause I previously was using debit card and I never bothered about paying it since I just "throw" money into the card and use it when I want... just that recently I start using my DA CC because of the 2% petrol rebate

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 10:02 PM) @Shinichi, U'll be getting a bill at the end of each month so when U receive it, just make full payment for it. Also, each time U use ur Credit Card, put away the $ to pay for the purchases made. That way, U'll have $ to pay at the end of each month Thanks tinkerbel For now making full monthly payment is not a problem for me as I've set aside an amount in bank just to pay for CC bill. And a cheapskate like me sure don't want to let bank earn money from my late/minimum payment Added on June 23, 2008, 10:20 pmQUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 10:18 PM) @vin_ann, I used DA twice so far this month for fuel purchases but my bill cycle isn't until end of month so I don't think I be getting a statement from them till a while more; except I do expect the 2% to be automatically deducted - is that what u want to check? I already got my rebate in latest statement. This post has been edited by Shinichi: Jun 23 2008, 10:20 PM

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 10:21 PM) @Shinichi, That's good thinking and very wise move I've never failed to make my payments promptly and in full ever since I started using a Credit Card. Like U, I refuse to let the bank make anymore $ than they oredi do from me Ok Ok.. U can also call me cheapskate Ah.. so DA's 2% rebate is immediate/automatic right? guess I shouldn't use the word cheapskate. Sorry if I offended anyone here Ya, the rebate is calculated at end of each month billing period.

QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 23 2008, 10:31 PM) I didn't use my DA for nearly 6 months. There's an overpayment of roughly 50 cents in every month statement. David you made me recalled my DA statement with overpayment of 1 cent for the last few months when I set it aside after getting the card

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jun 23 2008, 10:44 PM) @ Tinkerbel, shinichi, from the online, i see got no any rebates on it. somemore the system show is wired and very confusing. Hmmm are you sure that you are using DA Mastercard to pump petrol? Over the counter or thru kiosk? You still have the receipt? What is the description shown in your petrol usage? Perhaps you can call their CS and tell them about this? OT: I feel CIMBClicks is slower compared to Maybank2u... feels like choking everytime I browse CIMBClicks... guess is my line/PC problem...

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 10:49 PM) @Shinichi / vin_ann, Too bad I haven't setup my DA Online Account otherwise I could check ono my side to check if the rebates been credited ... Why not setting it up? Still prefer traditional paper statement? QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jun 23 2008, 10:50 PM) @ Tinkerbel, comparing DA's statement, it's just plain black n white n with minium logo design, no fancy thing, no promotion.... while others bank, it's red, blue... and promotion things... and many more. haha conclusion, who cares. haha I still hope DA give us the option to choose between e-statement or paper statement... I feel its a waste to the environment for them to send paper statement everymonth.

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jun 23 2008, 11:02 PM) pump at kiosk. receipt ar? abit hard to find back. btw, each time your paying via CC, do your have keep ur receipts n the CC slip receipt? if yes, for how long? i was like trying to keep for 1 months, then throw... As I just started using card to buy things beginning this year, I still keep most receipts I had. But IMO receipts will be good to keep for 1 month until you receive your statement. After this you throw away those receipts but keep your CC statement for 1 year before retention... Just my opinion. Like this month I hold my petrol receipts until I get CC statement then I use the receipts to join the Shell contest

QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 23 2008, 11:09 PM) I kept my receipts from day 1. Since I have cancelled my HSBC cards, I dumped those HSBC related receipts. Then will you use any of those receipts to join contests if applicable?

Hi all, anyone here using their credit card to verify Paypal account? Any comment on this? Is this safe?
Currently I'm using debit card to verify my Paypal, thinking of canceling my debit card but I still need to keep my Paypal account verified.

QUOTE(TeraPox @ Jun 27 2008, 01:10 AM) my friend just told me... bcareful about all these rebate-able cc ah coz normally, they r co branding, and u are unable to waive ur annual fee... so, the amount that u've earn from ur rebate probaly is much much lesser compare to the fee u've contributed to the bank.... So other than those Free for Life co-brand CCs, the rest mostly are not eligible for fee waiver?

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 27 2008, 11:25 AM) @jeff_ckf, Me?! Show off?! I'm not the one who plastered 4 Platinum cards ] Who r u trying mention???? @vin_ann some ppl likes design on CC some likes the benefits some likes the convenient some likes the bank actulally I like 'em all! I like Free For Life CCs with no strings attached QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 27 2008, 05:02 PM) Can be linked in a sense that you could use your CIMB saving accoun to pay your DA bill using CIMBClicks. I some how feel CIMB system is cacat cause they cant link all your accounts under one internet user ID. They told me their user ID is unique for each card issued by them. So how I have 2 CIMB internet login. One is for my savings while another is for my credit card. But I still able to view all my accounts info thru any of the login. But if I would like to transfer funds or pay my CC, I need to login to my savings internet login only can do so. This post has been edited by Shinichi: Jun 27 2008, 09:39 PM
