This seems to be the most violent Marvel movie (not that I have a problem with that). The punches and kicks were very detailed and people getting shot at was also pretty graphic compared to the previous Marvel movies. Hell.. someone even said "son of a b****".
Watched this in IMAX 3D. The movie itself was alright but the 3D? What 3D? There's not a single scene from start to end where I felt like I'm watching a 3D movie.
From the first frame, the 3D effect was there - its just that it extends INTO the screen, rather than having things fly out all the time - other than when weapons are pointed towards the audience. I thought 3D was very well utilized in displaying the scale of the ships - especially towards the end - the aerial battle scenes.
Saw it at the GSC ATMOS 3D hall, which was quite acceptable, other than the dimness..they could increase the brightness a bit more -
Its probably the dimensions and distance of the IMAX screen that made it feel like there is no 3D... which was why i skipped IMAX. I don't feel IMAX can do justice to 3D features not optimized for the format.. plus looking like the resolution is insufficient for the screen size doesn't help - digital pixelation and artifacts are so visible etc..
