The one in Iron Man 2 is clearly not made of Vibranium. The materials are lacking. Perhaps Howard Stark made it as a memento of sorts.

quickfire, I guess you have a point. MIB shows him mostly as Stone faced. haha. But I really liked Hugo weaving for this. Its like the perfect character after being an Elf.

I really like the last bit when cap threw the shield. It was as if Anthony and Joe is telling us that they are taking up the challenge by instructing Bucky to catch the thrown shield. (The first movie's trailer ended with the shield thrown to the screen to capture the 3D sense)

THAT ELEVATOR SCENE!!!!!!!!!!! And the shield flip. Yup, I know what I'm wearing this halloween.

So, now you all know why Shield tarak in Iron man 3?

For supremely speedy action (That usually makes everything look blurry in 3D), apparently it all looks very clear and smooth. None of that shaky cam action crap nor even blurriness during the action scenes (I'm still surprised it looks so clear and well).

Although I don't advocate 3D (i prefer IMAX due to better lighting and sound system), this is a very good conversion. AND, NO SUBTITLES!

Kudos to the trailers before the movie though (I watched on the first 10.45am show at One Utama last Thursday). All Disney movies, no commercials. And amazing depth on Spidey 2. That trailer won me over to watch it in IMAX. I just hope the same depth gets translated as well. (Seeing as the 3D trailer for Captain America 1 really won me over).

I am being slightly biased here, but Cap 1 is better than Cap 2 due to realism. I just prefer the World War 2 setting.

It's a Marvel movie issue (Happened since the Avengers. I watched it 5 times in with 2 different operators, so I can vouch for this. ).

If you want a brighter picture, consider going for Cathay Cinexplex's 4K screen or Imax (even though I took off my 3D glass at less important scenes)
