I don't see the hoohoohaha of this being the greatest CBM. If you strip away all the glossy superhero bits, it's just another of those cliche spy thriller with an unreliable narrator story hook. Marvel still sucks at crafting compelling villain. I'm that old school guy who believes in that the villain makes a great superhero storyline. Not the other way around in all the marvel studio films. It's a seven-ish movie for me.

To me this isn't about the "villain" but the manipulation to defeat "super(human) avengers" with their armoury or with their resources that's 10times? 100 times? 1000times.. how do you top that? Even a god' like Loki gets put in a can by the avengers.

It's rather inventive to think the only way to defeat them is to break their strongest strenght which is their friendship or the very bond that holds them.

I get the point comic book fans about wanting a equally stupendous villain that rivals earth mightiest hero's. It's been discussed in great lenghts about comic to movie transitions

Anyway, all those larger than life of villains will come soon enough, we all know that. We were shown glimpse if it in post credits, or as they mentioned phase 3 of MCU

Action wise, I do a free with some that perhaps CWS was a tad more overtop. But I like this story better. Their motives, agendas, individually or collectively.

Best cap movie. There were some equally good performances. Chris Evans & RobertD jr held that for me.

Best CBM? Maybe, maybe not, But it ranks quite good for me.

Huh!!!....are you 12 or what. I need a stronger motivation/reason for a person to be able orchestrate such manipulation. Zemo is all about conniving and outsmarting his opponent...that's his MO and not a convenient backstory like any terrorist in any dozen of Hollywood action flick. biggrin.gif

Modifying a saga to look like a GT-R simply does not make Proton a Nissan. dry.gif

Have you never heard "a hero is only as good as his villian". That is the basis of any good vs evil story ever told. Even Wesley Snipe's Blade knows this. smile.gif

Anyway, all those larger than life of villains will come soon enough, we all know that. We were shown glimpse if it in post credits, or as they mentioned phase 3 of MCU
It's all speculative unless you know Kevin Feige and he shared that script with you. hmm.gif

Isn't that what CE and RDJ did on any of the Marvel films. brows.gif

Your humble opinion and it only validate your taste in movies. Not mine. thumbsup.gif

I do make light-of-things and sometimes quote a movie line. Maybe I'm not as learned as some of the forumers here.

There was an explanation, on my part, my thoughts of the movie in reply. A friendly complimentary thoughts of what perhaps I gathered after watching CW and thru some light reading sourced over the web. These helped formed my little curiosity of the movie. Weather or not it streams with the rest of the majority or minority's views here, it's just my thoughts.

What I didn't do as anyone can read in the reply, there was nothing forced upon. Words I didn't use to throw weight to anyone to comply and condescending to make people to align to a camp of belief.

How does one go about crafting such conclusions? You are an adult, you are free to form your own belief and chosen your path of the conclusion about the movie.

It's quite baffling when as you said it's a public forum, views are imparted, but for one to go about manifest such notion that.. had I point a gun in anyone's head, "either you are with us, or against us"

I certainly wasn't patronizing to perhaps unlike some whom might call others, 'kids', minors, names, 12 year old or something when guys/girls who don't share his/her movie taste. (That however is distasteful)

I believe my reply was complimentary to the events that maybe I, you felt not answered. Like a discussion room, people share views. It is after all a discussion.

Perhaps you might have mistaken.

Manipulation? Yep. "Earth's mightiest heroes" are so dumb that they can be manipulated soooo easily with one damn CCTV. Lol

Motives? Motives to do what? Motives to fight? What motives? That they need to fight bcs one fella who is in Romania I believe all of a sudden killed a king somewhere in Africa. Wait whattttt laugh.gif

Break their strengths of friendship? What friendship? More like an unknown relationship between one robot who is ego and one old supersoldier who is, also ego. Both want to protect their own egos, which is wayyyy too lame

it was Zemo plan for Stark to found out the truth (the scene where Zemo called the hotel waitress to deliver his breakfast or something to the dead doctor/prof hotel room in Berlin)

You sounded like a person needing validation of your viewpoint. If you want to do a healthy discussion please bring some degree of nuanced opinion....not any of the surface or rudimentary viewpoint. That does not interest me one bit.
At the same time I'm not pointing a gun for you to reply my post. I'm perfectly fine with you loving the movie and I do not need you tell me why you love it cause why do I care what you like? icon_rolleyes.gif

Ahem version is out.

I think this muvi aint too bad, but not the best Marvel movie out there. CA:WS is still the best Marvel movie by far.

This one, just another marvel CGI fest, not as disappointing as Ironman 3 but aint close to Antman.

Will we ever see Chris Evans as Steve Rogers again?

Thought I read somewhere that he's done with the franchise.

Questions.

Afternoon happy.gif

Blu-ray is out tongue.gif

Pretty good storyline; better than Ultron's.

What a twist in the end.

But the idea of the good guys fighting each other is just lame.

The fans wanted this?

I rather they fought the bad guys.

Maybe it's necessary for the storyline and that twist in the end.

'Captain America: The First Avenger'
still the best.

#Hayley
#HailHydra

Me more of Iron Man fan happy.gif

Since it's a Steve Rogers movie...so...tongue.gif

Can't argue much with the ending.

Black Panther is no joke huh?

Phew!

Love Scarlett's wardrobe.

Her scene when she got off the bike.

I underestimated her.

She's quite powderful.

Marisa Tomei.

A lot of make-up to hide her age.

But still a hottie happy.gif
