Hi peeps! I've been playing monster hunter (Mhf2 - waiting for MhU) for sometime. HR5 now if not mistaken. I'm looking for xlink kai kaki.
Currently I normally play alone.

Using :

Deathstench armor full set (normal one) + killer scythe (gs)

I've been thinking of making the laoshanlong armour as my next armourset, however after considering it i feel like getting an armourset with hi earplugs probably would be better.

Anyone wanna team up with me?

If any "low" rank hunters want to team with me, I won't mind either. I don't mind doing "low" rank quests.

derlin, ur dp is a kyo. kyo uses a sword. not a hammer.

elder quest n training is for solo
guild hall is meant for multiplayer but so far i managed to get up to hr6 by myself

use gs, wait for plesi to start ejaculating, run between his legs and whack his belly, roll, keep sword.

repeat. till plesi dies.

to help u, bring frogs, u can actually fish the plesi out using frogs. if u know where hes gonna land, put bombs/traps at that place.

i always throw sonic bombs at it even though it goes into rage mode coz of it.

i just love pissing him off.

there are many hacks available, just need to find.
however if u really need to hack, then the game prolly isnt meant for u

lol i m a gs user. love gs. best reach and able to perform infinite combos (only used when monster is down/paralyzed/ko blablabla).

the method u see, run around mob hit roll and unsheath is the basic of using gs.

i wouldnt say it is the best weapon, but i would say it is my favourite.

it is true hammer outdamages gs, but whenever u attack using a gs u really feel a sense of dealing damage. heck gs level 3 charge attack is the strongest "non special" single attack (besides fire wyvern). level 3 charge on tigrex head = stagger.

go give it a try.

i managed to get my xlink kai up and running again, whoever needs help can pm me (i m hr 6). the only things ive never killed before are rajang fatalis and Granked elder dragons+gaoshenren.

oh yeah, i m strictly mhf2. i ve been waiting for unity for ages...

this year i guess... august?

btw blos tactic is one he jump out from the ground (ur position should usually be behind him) run towards him under his abdomen (between his legs), u can try running to his head for headshots. blos will perform tailwhip (since u came from behind) but you dont need to wait for him to do that, just start charging ur gs for the head or body (dont need to turn around, just charge).

when blos is looking at u and wants to ram into you simply run towards him and slash his head and roll forward a second before he actually starts moving forward.

if he hipkicks avoid it and charge (level 2 charge to play safe but level 3 is fine) or do a simple hit and run

if hes underground simply throw a sonicbomb (doesnt work if hes raged) charge level 3 and attack 3-4 times (i forgot how many times exactly) he will fly up and one of your attacks will miss, when u miss- straight away charge lvl3 so when he comes down u get another free hit.

take advantage of some maps wear his horns can get stuck (once allhorns are broken they ll never get stuck) for free charge attacks to the head. you dont need to jump away, you can easily block his running charge.

for tail cutting i rarely use charge attacks instead i use hit n run tactics either by running behind him n chop his tail once or running right at him from the front between his legs to his tail.

blos vs gs? gs wins

recommended weapon: tigrex gs
has negative affinity (opposite of critical which does less damage by 25%) of 30% (30% chance to do 25% less damage)
but has high raw and purple sharpness
to counter the negative affinity use drawcritical skill which makes all your unseathed attacks score a critical hit (unseath attack is the first attack you make if your weapon is kept)

recommended armor for draw attack = ceanatur x (either the gloves or the boots - both each provide +4 to the skill) and slot in 2 unseathing jewels (+3 using 2 slots)

if u want more damage get diablos sword but u need to get artisan to improve its sharpness.

my most glorious win used to be tigrex... then dual tigrex.... then gold rajang....

currently struggling with the last cat quest. hope for my "glorious win" hahahaha

akantor is the last urgent cat quest which will unlock the last cat quest
btw akantor was easier than i expected (since i had g rank armor+ weapons)
