I'm thinking to get this game, but i'm just curious what is the game like?

1. Is the story related? Do I have to play Monster Hunter Freedom first, the Monster Hunter Freedom 2?

2. What gameplay is this?

3. Is there a difference between, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG

Thanks for answering smile.gif

I just gave MHFU a try.

Learning curve quite deep. So much in game reading. Camera in a mess. Hard to hit the monster when they are running around.

Still trying...

I read Monster Unite has new content to download.

Is it available to download from computer besides downloading from PSP?

Some very noob question on monster hunter freedom unite.

1. How many cats for the kitchen is ideal? Is 1 enough? What is the advantage of having more?

2. How to upgrade the level for the cats in the kitchen?

3. When I upgrade my Sword and Shield (the one that was given at the beginning of the quest) for the 2nd time, it became Dual Swords?

Thanks for the reply.

I have given up 2 times previous, but this 3rd time, I think I am starting to like it. Will be coming back for help later on. Thanks ahead for all the master hunters.

Previously he has given up playing monster hunter twice. This is his third try/time playing it.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
*
Yew correct. First 2 times gave up cause I jumped into the game directly and got lost.

try monster hunter -> gave up -> play other games -> come back to monster hunter -> gave up -> play other games -> and now back smile.gif

3rd time, did quite a bit of browsing faq and forums... then now understand better.

I don't intend to play cheat except changing something like my cat's name and it's random skill to my preference only.

hi guys, i want to know will this work on PSP3000 with ChickHEN? coz u gotta switch off fully and turn it back on to go to recovery mode, n afaik, doing so on a PSP3000 will reset the firmware, how is this possible yea? unless, i can still access through recovery menu although it has been flashed to OFW.

thanks. cool.gif

Installing CWCheat on ChickHEN R2 & Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60 is slightly different. To get it work, you do not need to go into recovery mode.

Just change the content of both the txt file to the below and it will automatic work.

seplugins\GAME.txt
ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheat.prx 1

seplugins\POPS.txt
ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheatpops.prx 1

Added on August 30, 2009, 7:36 pmYes... Finally killed it... After at least 8 tries.

Used a lot of flash bomb + shock traps + large bomb.

So satisfied now...

Me still very beginning but already clock 118 hours. The 1st Tigrex I fought is at the old lady quest.

Yesterday, I just killed Kirin. Now wearing Kirin full set armor (upgraded with armor sphere+ to the max) and LS Supremacy Blade

I had the same feeling like you before... I gave up 2 times at training cause so boring...

But if you play further at least into the old lady quest, you will start to like it and slowly get addicted smile.gif

The feeling of killing monsters so intense at times. Pist off if cannot kill. Satisfied if killing or capture it.

This game good? no storyline but to fight monster and gain armor and weapons, rite?
*
No storyline.
You just play quest.
There are time limit for the quest.
Example of quest, kill monster, kill x monster, collect mushroom, fishing, etc
You have to find/mine/kill/catch items to make armor or weapons.
You want that armor or weapons, you have to work / kill your way to make it.

Lots of intense when fighting difficult monster.
Lots of pissing off when monster keeps killing you.
e-Penis will grow when you successfully kill that difficult monster.
