btw i went to a frens house and tried out ps3 on a sony bravia lcd hd-TV...

very superb visual effect. cant imagine how great its gonna be if theres Monster Hunter for ps3...

yeah have seen some video of cutting parts off with boomerang..

that kinda make hammer user fit for all occasion except maybe those huge flying dragons (forgot name). can break shells, cut off craps with well timed boomer, pretty imba

but i only use GS if can be helped.. too lazy to learn other weapons hehe

by the way can anyone show me the linky to install the latest xlink software pls? i am still using one of the old wifi-max, does that still work or do i need to buy a new version?

currently soloed my way to HR5, stuck on urgent quest to HR6 (twin tigrex...). just made a rathalos S armor so hopefully can withstand a few blow from that 2 puppy.

erm ...rajang.. i hate that monkey even more than i hate tigrex...
and btw thats not available to me atm..

np if u cant remember me.. i think we xlink only 2-3 times.. was mostly playing with kazeru, forb+kenz, lakum and shin.

and then later on kazeru got busy, i think he was trying to solo akamu with LS or sumthing.. or attempting the village last few quest. was mostly rolling with forb+kenz at the end.

yeah GL seems to be very hard to learn...

tried making 1 and play play with it for half day also cant seem to get the gist of it..

anyway not gonna pay 1k rm just for 1 game... if only their other game not so suxor.

ok so far i been playing MHF:unite from scratch but i miss the blood spewing from my MHP:2ndG...

for those who dont know: any version of MH other than the Japanese version has had the "blood spewing" animation edited out to pass for the Euro/US country's ESRB rating "Teen". In all Japanese version, monster spew ALOT MORE blood when u damage them. this is because in the Japanese ESRB system, monster blood is not considered as 'blood' (dont ask me why). so spewing galons of monster blood does not negate their 'teen' rating. For those who only played MH english version, please check out some utube video for japanese version and see niagara waterfall blood effects (pay special attention to GS charge attack or up-front slash) coz that give a nice gush of blood everytime).

FYI: i played the MHP:2ndG in Japanese and have to remember the shape of the Japanese writing for all the ingredients/monster name, it gets very troublesome at later stage because there are alot of components and different monster involve at creating simple stuffs.. so yeah i stoped mhp2g partly because of this.

OK ENUF SAID... does anyone know a way to patch the MHP:2ndG to show english texts please? i really miss seeing the blood spewing.

1: 5 is max number and gives the best buff combination. (fish+bran = defence+health, meat+vege = big attack up+ health, 1 other combination for max stam+max health)

2: will level up randomly after u do each quest (short quest like resource ones dont count i think)

3: refer to some weapon path diagram for best desired result .

where? i want it badly

ive found the answer myself. yes ofc its possible, you only need cwcheat. put the following in your cheat.db:

_C1 More Blood
_L 0x1142CAB0 0x00004000
_L 0x214EC5A0 0x40000000

and bam there you go "

can someone with cwcheat test this out pls? does it work like the jap version or some weird stuff come out?

on a side note: mhp2ndG have slightly different button configuration than MHFU so its a slight annoyance. especially when the confirm/deny button is inverted. i just bought a stupid armor accidentally while just browsing the shop... zz

but over all enjoying the blood in mhp2g.
