Actually there's no proper guide for this game.. U just hack and slash.. Other thing u should have is creativity and fast-thinking in hunting.
u can refer to the 1st page of this thread if u want some hints.

Some ppl gathers to play adhoc together, u can search for gathering/clan thread in console couch/playstation forum.
Or u can play online using Xlink Kai with hunters around the world.

Most of us 'veterans' retired already. So u can't see most of pro hunters out there still playin this game.
I also retire for while.. haven't get online kai anymore. i've become a legend quite a long time already so its up to u guys become a new legend.

Oh, i hereby grant u guys the forbidden seal.. go on a journey to discover urself as hunter & search the legendary root dragon 'White Fatalis'.

oic... so u want to play online.. the best bet is going online with XLink kai. but u need to hav/buy a wifi adapter that support Xlink Kai..
Further info for xlink kai, u need to check on its official website or u can search for the xlink kai thread in this forum.

So ur same with me. I firstplay MH was on the PS2. i did all the quest offline only including the powderstone. then later i go for MHF on PSP.

fyi, MH Orage manga chapter 10 already out.. i've read it just now. Check it out..

with Xlink Kai, u can team up with any region in the same game.
MHF2 US Eng + MHF2 EU Eng, MHF2 US/EU Eng + MHP2 Jap..
MHF2 and MHP2 are the same game only diff in language.

U cannot simply join with MHP2G game if u using MHF2/MHP2.
The G version 'so called Generation' is a diff system. So can't link together.

U can order online from Play Asia or search any Console shop that sells UMD..

i don't have a PS3 so can't try it.
Not sure about connecting MHP2G to PS3..
i thought it would only works on MHFU. even MHFU still not release yet.

Golden Egg is a very rare item. certain download quest can get this egg and also u get it from treasure hunting quest.
To get the golden egg in treasure hunting quest, u need to get a high amount of points.
Most certainly, above 50K points in a quest.. good luck

If u can beat YAMA, then forsure u can beat 2 G-Yian Kutku in a quest.
Crack the beak both of them then kill em. Sell all the items from carve and reward.
It is 1 of the way for fast money..
