I would like to know if i plan for a holiday in US. How should i apply for the Visa? Does anyone know the procedure that we need to do first before we book the air ticket? Please let me know.

Is that simple? Do they need any other things ? How long have i been working in malaysia? Do they need a company letter? Can i book the air ticket or package from the travel agency before i apply for the visa?

How long should i wait after i apply for the visa? few months.

for vacation - just need a reference of a person that will sponsor you in the U.S.
If you're flying under a tour company, just state the company's name.
How long, around a week or so, US visa is kinda strict lately. If you're not a Muslim, you should have no problem getting visa faster.

Advisable to apply visa first before booking ticket to US because they might not approve your visa fast enough.
ah, most tour company will handle your visa imho.

as long as u are rich( or above-paid)
and have a steady income and a good financial background
with no records.

i dont think there is a problem.

u have to apply the visa before going there at embassy. unlike other countries where visa on arrival is applicable.

and remember to bring your credit cards or appropriate sum of cash as a declaration that u'r going there for hols.

there are terms and conditions when applying for visa, u have to undergo an interview for that.

Firstly,i'm not super rich. Is that mean that the embassy person won't approve my visa? I have a steady income and a job.

I'm the one who sponsor myself. Do i need some reference person?
I pay for my own trip. Why should we need to show them our credit card and sum of cash? That's my privacy. Should we need to do that?

By the way, Can you refer me some a good tour company? I prefer them to settle my visa thingy? Don't want to trouble myself.

you must show them ur income slip or ur bank book...

ermm.. would be better if some1 sponsors u... they want to make sure u dont run away and work there illegally

More thing i would like to know, besides income slip and bank book. What else do they need? What do you mean by someone sponsor me ? He/she pays for my trip or as my guarantor. So complicated to apply for visa and visit US.
What for i want to run away? My boss is going to kill me if i take leave more than 3 weeks.

We went with Ken-Air but that tour agency has sinced closed down (not because of me ok ) so can't help you there. Are you going on a tour? If so then ask your agent to do it for you.
