dunno where to ask, since it's part of casing and mods so juz post here. I have a set of CoolerMaster CCFLs, just bought about 2-3 months ago. I changed my mobo, so i took them out of my case so it's easier for me to fix my mobo into the case. Previously the CCFLs were working fine. After that, I plugged in everything, CCFLs and the inverter, turn on the power, but none of them are working anymore. No lights at all. I check the connections, everything is nice and tight. Anyone knows what is the problem and how to fix it?
Thnx for ur help.

Have you try and check if your inverter is still functioning? Most of the time, it is the inverter that is damaged and thus there's no power to the CCFLs! Also double check the inverter's "power in" from your distributed molex connectors from your PSU.
If your inverter is damaged, I suggest you get a new set of CCFLs as it is cheaper than buying or repairing an inverter.

Do you have a multimeter for measuring amps, volts etc.? If so, use it to measure if there is any power coming out of the inverter. Make sure that your multimeter is set to the appropriate voltage! CCFLs are actually a step up of voltage from the normal 12V DC..

Lolz I don't have any of those. From what I have checked, most probably the culprit is the inverter. But this set of CCFL is just few months old only wor. So fast inverter can spoil?

Sometimes inverters are damaged due to sudden surge of voltage, which under your current circumstances it most probably have been shorted out by this, however... I suggest (since you don't have a multimeter), bring it to a PC vendor and ask them if they could kindly test it out for you, if not, get a new set from them and try it on your old CCFLs and you will confirm on on whichever is damaged!

i have a question too,my both nuclear tech and vizo uv ccfl will seems will 'vibra' when powering,i can see the light sometime will bright sometime will less bright,if only one of them got tis problem, maybe i can suspend is the light problem, but now both brand oso like tis,so is it not enought power from my power supply ? or due to messy connection ? coz i connect them to a same molex source by using female and male connector together
all details of my rig is on my siggy

Looks like your accessories is taking up too much power from a limited source of power! (350Watts?!!) It is barely sufficient to power all the hardware you have in your box. Have at least 450 - 500 Watts, it helps and also insure yourself against serious damage to your mainboard as well as overloading, as it will cause the capacitors and transistors to fry on your mainboard... i.e. "capacitors leaking"...

but 'real power' 350 watts is quite enough for my current rig right? coz according to tomshardware, even a overclocked machine plus SLI oso not comsump more than 400 watt, but i forget the spec oredi, and my cirrent psu is sleeve with uv,if wan me to buy a new onw, quite hurt and waste..haha,and i know if my hardware damage due to tis i will more hurt...=.= haha

is there any other way to check which part of the CCFL set is faulty? is there any chance that the ccfl tubes are faulty? or izit most likely the inverter?
