Greetings from Go International Group - the master licensees of e-sports community renowned Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC).
Electronic Sports World Cup, one of the most happening video games championship in the world is now in Malaysia!

This year, ESWC Malaysia will be organised in conjunction with the Independent Youth Festival. The 3-day festival will bring together youth - from bands, singer songwriters, poets, t-shirt designers to video gamers.

The highlight of the event will be the selection of Malaysia's BEST GAMERS who will represent the country at the ESWC Grand Finals held at San Jose, USA together with NVISION 2008.

ESWC 2008 Malaysia Qualifiers will held from May to June 2008 at various locations around Malaysia. Running alongside with the qualifiers are the ESWC 2008 Malaysia Road Shows, featuring Intel's Skulltrail enthusiast gaming platform, Blue Thunder's latest peripherals, Play Interactive's ESWC 2008 Malaysia VW Beetle powered by Tai-Kwong Yokohama Battery, SteelSeries's professional gaming gear, official game titles from Sendi Mutiara Multimedia and Online E-Club Management.

But all the information above only applies to DoTA and CS qualifiers only rite? How about the other two games?

The two other games Trackmania Nations and Warcraft III TFT is only featured at the National Final with limited slots. Registration will be open later.

in the other thread u stated that we must go thru the qualifiers to participate in the malaysian national finals (for counter-strike 1.6). but theres only 2 qualifiers for cs, so only 4 teams gonna play @ the malaysian national finals ?

Most probably there will still be more CS qualifiers to be announced, if not then more teams will be qualified during the qualifiers.

For DotA those are the only qualifiers.

Does the prizes include paid for air tickets for the National Finals for the Sarawak and Sabah qualifiers? RM500 seems a little too low for the 1st prize if it doenst include the air tics and accomodation. Thanks.

There's still sponsored product which worth quite an amount. Look at the big picture, you stand a chance in winning the National Final and represent Malaysia to San Jose, California 5 star accomodation for 4 days to compete with 50 other countries on DotA. That alone worth more than RM30K not included the experience you will get there.

Last year you pay RM2XX to join so many SMM qualifiers also ma xD this year SMM also coming soon liao ma.

If any gamers out there are serious about gaming, I believe all of you should join more tournament. Win or lose doesn't matter, is the experience which matters. If you give out before you even give it a try, I doubt you will improve.

er.. sorry there is something i don't understand here .. you have only 2 qualifiers for cs which means we'll only see 4 teams competing with each other in the national final?

from wad i understand and can see, the entrance fee for the competition is RM100 per team whereby the top 2 teams share a prize money of RM750. Lets say the competition is joined by 40 teams. you wud have a total of RM4000; minus the RM750, which leaves RM3250. where does that money go to?? is the money used to accommodate or sponsor the top 2 teams of each qualifier? Sabah and Sarawak Qualifiers have no air ticket? Please explain ASAP!!! thanks

Friday at 1 Utama is a qualifiers for DotA and CS, If you can't make it on friday then you need to join other qualifiers.

Assuming and If I have 40 teams joining, then ESWC would have the remaining RM3250 to spend, it can help the Final Event build-up or funding for the Air Ticket to San Jose But do I have 40 teams?
