Thanks for your comment. I am using the 50mm f1.8 lens. Still saving money to buy the 70-200mm f2.8 lens. Here are a few more images.

What ISO you using for the event shot ?
cant read through exif...

urghhh... the noise is killing me... must be at high iso.. huhu... faster collect money n buy bounce flash... LOL....

I was trying ISO 800 but will try different ISO next time.

gotta take note of the lighting...many of them are underexposed

you using f2.8? wooohoo...hehe...number 3 blur ler... no4 underexposed... coz the cam tricked by the white background and object...

#1 good enough
#2 , not very sharp at face part , But i like the background bokeh
#3 is oof
#4 you focusing the chair's leg ?
