Okay guys, it seems we have a LOT of redundant threads here, lets talk and share about your want list for next PS3 firmware. Over the past year, the firmware upgrades provided a lot of functions (thank god not like PSP's security upgrade) so personally I think its vital for Sony to release more features for PS3, thus evolving the console. This is also add more lifespan for the console itself. Okay, this is my wish list:

1. HOME (duh.) (done)

2. In game XMB (to reply those PMs faster)(done)

3. Somekind of hdd scanning utility to fix the errors.

4. A better interative XMB background (plus it up with PSN Store ! )

5. In game invites.(done)

You guys?

Let's see, for the main menu i would really love if they add

1 : Font colour changer ?

2 : Own personal fonts ?

Lots more but can't think of anymore at the moment.

A free simple game should be fun. A " XMB in-game" in-game if you like. Just like when u open YM and play pool while ur chatting. Something simple like that should be interesting. Also, EQ for mp3 could be useful.

EQ for PS3..wait that could work...as its more than just a console...if have party, can be the auto DJ lar..sweet!

I want in game XMB for its messaging system AND so that I can play my own mp3s. It's something the xbots have had since a looooong time. Just imagine how powerful it would be to have an ingame XMB.

You play GTA to the tune of "anak ayam", then when u get stuck in a mission, bring up the XMB and refer back to gamefaqs, then continue playing. While waiting for the next date, u bring up the XMB again, post in LYN forum to say that ur waiting for the rest to gather for MP session and at the same time carry out a voice chat with another party member.

I suppose some bugs still need to be ironed out. Maybe all SPEs are taken up in game?

I think they are testing things out.

It would be a pain in the arse if they give us a shitload of things untested and our PS3 gets screwed.. then it would be the second coming of the GTA IV freezes....

I agree. The GTAIV is also unacceptable actually . It's like they were working on the game till the day it was released until they had no time to test it out first?! I'm sure htey might have tested it out and how come they did not come across a problem that millions of ppl experience

onething about HOME, most of us are using Asian PS3...with US PSN..what I am concerned is, if HOME is released, it will follow our PSN..means I have a US PSN, it will have US Home. Then we will face the credit card hooplas again..(malaysian CC not accepted in US Home)
