Added on May 5, 2008, 6:41 pmThe black residue on the frame was some butyl sealant/bitumen like substance for the weather transparent plastic sheet that I've thrown away..once u take it off..damn messy, not from the bitumen roll.

Another citical area, my 2.5 year old bitumen strip on bonnet...it's still hot even it's under the stock fiber based insulation cover. It didn't melt or got get harden.
