Initial Thoughts :

Well, i gotta admit that the box is rather plain, but hey they rjust recently entered the market, so cant expect that much from them tongue.gif

Here we can see those sexy heatpipes exposed tongue.gif

As you can see here, the padded the box with foam to keep the fin array from getting smashed due to mishandling.

Mix this heatsink together with two Evercool 80X80X25MM Aluminium Fan, and you'll have a superb looking heatsink.
Although by doing that, you'll have smaller room for airflow if you want to do SLi or Crossfire.

Using a 80X80X15MM fan would help a lot if you're going for SLi or Crossfire.

Offtopic:
Downcast, PM me the price for this heatsink.

yea would love more pics.

also, do you think 2x 80mm's would be better? or 1x 120mm, noise wise i believe single 120mm would be better right?

2x80mm might generate more noise compare to 1x120mm but no doubt 2x80mm might perform a bit better in term of temperature??

quite impressive result for a air cooled hsf for gpu, btw, what is ur ambient temps, did the test in an aircond room? 33-35c for GPU tht's very cool for air cooled, my watercooled 3870 also getting 37-39c in a non-air conditioned room, but load temp is just 2-3c higher...

holy crap 3-4 slots for the cooler + fan shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif

what about the thermalright solutions then? would they be small enough?

if you've seen my rig pics, i can almost guarantee they wont fit, or my sound card have to get stuffed down on the lower slots with the wires and everything tangling it (i suck at cable management XD)

=edit=
fixed some typo

also, mind putting up direct link to this product? lazy to google/browse their site lol. any idea on the pricing for this?

Weird, even when i went to Guang Hua business squre in Taiwan (SLS of Taiwan) last month, i didn't see any Auras cooler. All i saw was coolermaster, thermaltake, sunbeam, and occasionally arctic.

I thought this babe just released not long ago and it has not built up it's reputation mah .. .

But it's really a good looking and performing well ..

I think it would definitely surpassed AC S1 loh ...

Arctic Cooling S1 Measurement:
138MM Length x 215MM Width x 33MM Height.

Auras Fridge JES-988 Measurement:
227.2MM Length x 134.4MM Width x 34MM Height.

Thermalright T-Rad2 Measurement:
228MM Length x 104MM Width x 24.3MM Height.

It seems that Thermalright T-Rad2 is the best choice if you're going for Crossfire or SLi.

However, if your GPU has IHS, Xigmatek Battle-Axe VD964 is the best choice, but sadly, you can't go Crossfire or SLi with Xigmatek Battle-Axe VD964.
