smile.gif There are many places that sells cages. Pet Safari, pet family, pet wonderland, etc etc. I would say that Petaling street has the best deal for cages if you want a new one. Otherwise, you can just get a good second hand one right here in LYN. smile.gif That's even better.

You can also DIY one just like Moozz. Just make sure it's big because 2 GPs need more space.

Actually there are many other pet shops selling good cages. You see many of them selling birds right? Inside may have good cages. I don't agree with the way they keep pets but their cages are cheap and even negotiable.

Hay is very very important for GP's digestive system as well as keeping their teeth in shape. If they're teeth are too long they will be unable to eat and will die if not brought to a vet immediately. smile.gif So do give hay to avoid this kind of complications.

@Rumizu: If you see the texel I think you will drool in the shop and just have to get it even more. biggrin.gif I can't say no to a normal hamster, GP, whatever pets. How can you say no to a texel??

currently i have 3 gps - all female. will let them stay that way. previously one of them was very fierce. keep attacking the rest and i have to separate her. tried introducing several times but failed. however, one day she just climbed over to the other cage and decided to make friends. they now live happily ever after.

blink.gif I posted the same question in a few pages back. My question was "does anyone had an experience where the GP will barber herself". BTW are you sure she's doing it to herself or the other GPs are barbering her?

I suggest you house the 3 males together and the female by herself unless you want her pregnant. I think males can bond with one another as long as there's no femaale around to fight over.

so hows ur girl girl now? did she recovered?

i saw quite few times tat chinchi bite her own hair off frm tat area... her thigh area is bold now n the area increasing!!!

i bought her frm ikano, with another black piggie frm the same cage wth her.. joining her&blackie wth another 2 older piggies, i didnt see them fight... they mostly chase&run wth each other, smell each other butt, n jump jump jump... wen i separate them into 2 cages (blackie&she in 1 cage, aby&torty in 1 cage), both side piggies will trying to look for the other sides piggies...

seems they having good relation... m i right?

I brought her to a vet. I know she's doing it to herself cuz she's housed alone. Vet checked her for lice and mites and fungus. Then gave her some cream and mite infection shot just in case lor. They say no mites, lice and fungus.

smile.gif She's better dy. Hair grew back.

biggrin.gif But I feel your cage is great wor. smile.gif Worthy to be an example of creativity and budget-saving.

You better make sure you watch them while they eat also. They can "hanky panky" anytime, anywhere you know...

@Sharil : biggrin.gif Which GP you talking about. My house got 3 mar. I also wanna see your GPs pictures~

Anything with high vitamin c. Broccoli is good. Tomatoes, orange, carrots, cauliflower, corn, green pepper, kale, and berries. And basically most dark leafy vegetables.

Just make sure you take out the seeds first. And don't give too much of those sweet veges.
