is 2-3 mth now....  wub.gif
or is it bcoz the hay r "expired" one? coz it doesnt look vry greenish...

sweat.gif I think the proper word is "stale" for the hay. GPs under 4 months are recommended to have alfafa hay. It could be that it's not that fresh. Next time, choose the hay that looks more green. I also find that my GPs prefer grass than hay. They eat a lot when I got them timothy grass but less when I feed them timothy hay.

Fresh hay. Get Oxbow hay or hay from Chinchillas, confirmed super fresh quality.

My GPs all prefer fresh hay and do not like cheap brands like Bengy.... sigh.... they eat expensive brands, plus love drinking vitamin C water heheheh.

If your father can even spot the hay is "dry n yellow" I think your hay is already a bad hay, don't even use it to feed your pet.

biggrin.gif I see I see. then I suggest you better go and get greener and fresher hay. Those stale hay doesn't have the nutrients needed by your GPs anymore because the nutrient quality is already lost. So there's really no point to make your GP eat it.

sweat.gif Your dad has a point. Who will eat someting that is expired and not good already. Go get a new pack lar. If your GP can't finish fast then get a smaller pack. Then u can give them fresh hay all the time. smile.gif

Then try changing brands. Maybe that particular brand is not appealing to your GP. blush.gif It happens to my GP.

I think the rat attracted by ur GP food. Coz I always monitor my GP when I gave them food, then i can see uninvited visitor coming. Hahaha... Just be careful if the rat eat the GP food, scare the food will be dirt by dirty rat. ohmy.gif.

Yes, it can eat a little. But alfafa hay has the sufficient nutrients a baby GP needs while it's growing so you should go get some as soon as possible.

sweat.gif I'm pretty sure the rat's not attracted by your GP. It's very unusual for animals to crossbreed that way. They're totally different species. Probably interested in food as sharil mentioned. If the packet got bitten and the food eaten by the rat i suggest you buy new food. You know... rats aren't very hygenic.

How old is he? smile.gif Good name.

Yes, get Oxbow. They're a bit expensive, but there're one good reason to buy even at the high price - the nutrient and the good quality!

I also purchased Timothy from Chincillas. They're fresh, sweet smell and crispy... I'll purcahse from him again once the previous one finish...
