As long as the cage is barred on the top for ventilation and the bottom part is basically like a rectangle with no bars, then you can use it. The ventilation is important to prevent heat stroke and the flooring area cannot have bars or it'll cause the GPs to develop bumblefoot, which is a infection of sorts. Any shape or design of the cage is otherwise fine. 2.Yes it's possible to have 1 GP only as long as you give it attention. You will become its only source of companionship. 3. 4. GPs are herbivours. They only eat vege. Don't give meat lo. They are like us in the sense that their body don't produce vitamin c on their own, so we mus give through vegetables and fruits. Must give hay to keep teeth in proper size and digestion healthy. Can toilet train. Can bathe. Can let you hug hug and touch. What else you wanna know? hehe... Muchan, I like both syrians and GPs lor. Hehe... Syrians are cute, nice to see and have fun with. GPs are better for company. Can put on your lap when you watch tv. Seem to better understand you by the things you do. It will know you're scolding because it did something wrong. It will pay attention when you talk. Go get one lar. Hehe... |

She responds EXTREMELY well when you're holding food. It's like she'll burst right out of her cage to be with you (and the food). Kiki is very independant. She likes to wander around o her own. And she gets jealous very easily. This post has been edited by Jamien: Jun 18 2008, 12:55 PM |

my 4 piggies characteristic~~~
aby is the eldest (few days) than those 3 kids.. but his character more like a girl than a guy... will oik loud.. anything he dont like, he'll use his head push away... n he is the magiciant to cheer up evryone n could make evryone popcorning once he available... he is the leader or core of the group.. torty love to eat... a vry quiet but vry reliable partner wth aby... love to stick to aby only... suspecting he is racist!! coz he(normal breed) dont really mix wth the other 2 abysian, except aby only... is it the age matter? the breed matter? or they r not staying together? blackie has a vry happy character, always popcorning... love to eat too~ oiik loud for food... but he eat gently... he having a vry soft gentle character... sometimes got bully by aby a bit... poor thing... chinchi vry manja... love to oiiiiiik loudest for attention...same as aby, always use her head to push away things which she dont like.. the most choosy on food... |

I'm not going today.. hav some work to do.. very sad.. to inspect gp stuff and to see how many should I spend if really getting gp.... now 50% sure oni... but still wan to wait till semester break and see what else I have to know before having gp Jamien : wanna ask again!! there are normal, aby, and sheltie breed right? basically... what's the different of these breeds? While waiting jamien answer those questions, let me explain explain a little bit.. hee... The different between those GPs are their fur, Abby hav rough coat that has cowlicked rosettes of hair, normal hav straight and short hair and sheltie has long hair that flows back over its body and never forward over the face. Daily combing will help remove some of the loose hair and lessen shedding either its sheltie, normal or other types of breed, except hairless type. hee..
