i think can..
but it's better to try putting them together first and monitor.. if it seems ok then leave them for a bit longer but please do the monitoring once in a while.. some females, like jamien's prefer living alone.. |

QUOTE(limie @ Jun 16 2008, 11:06 PM) haiz... my female GP in strange mood d... maybe she doesn't want to eat when u're around.. like my kojiro, i put him in the living room.. he will stop eating when he sees me walking pass by his cage.. but when i lie down or sit still then he will eat..i dono what she wans... keep rejected food 1by1... and simply pee~~~ try lesving her with the food and look again tomorrow.. if this kind of thing happens for a few days, then it's better for u to take her for a vet checkup.. gp really good at hiding his/her sickness.. QUOTE(RyoKenzaki @ Jun 16 2008, 11:10 PM) i did experienced dis a few times.. usually the boys la will do this kind of habit.. |

Now she doesn't as long as I return her to her cage and allow her to pee before she comes back out. It's absolutely normal to pee when you have a full tank right? Don't worry. I also read that older females are more easily accepting of younger females. I think this refers to the very old and the very young. But as Rumizu mentioned, just monitor them because they could be natural loners or rejects each other. |

I have 4 pairs of guinea pig now, I'm thinking of reducing some of my guinea pigs collection to 1-2 pair. Still have not decided, quite reluctant to let go actually, because they all are my favourite GPs. But right now my space constraint, and they lack of space to move about much and had put on a lot of weight, so not very good for them in the long run. This situation will be going on for another 5 months more, until I move to a new bigger home. So I'm thinking if someone can provide them better living condition than I am, then I should give them to that person. I do not wish to put them up in adoption thread, because this adoption is not open to anybody except to regular GP thread user.
