I'm on board. Liked the first one a lot but a bit potong stim if you asked me. I mean, I loved the way they made Stark into the Iron Man but once he became the Iron Man, it was just so-so. A good start to the franchise but the second one has to be a whole lot better - action wise

I admire Jon's vision and maturity with the direction he's taking IM2 but seriously, nothing will beat TDK. I don't have to see it to know I'll cream over Ledger and Eckhart.

Reviews are pouring in and don't be surprised to see it in single digits on RT tonight

I just got back and I'm not sure if this has been commented on but there were a few scenes in the trailers that I saw in the teasers and trailers that weren't in the final cut at the theater I saw. I would like to confirm if it was only my theater or not.

For example, in the trailers, Pepper Potts kisses the Iron Man helmet and Tony Stark supposedly jumps out of the plane to retrieve it before entering StarkExpo but in the film, he just jumps.

I had a good time (better time than Iron Man) but Iron Man didn't tackle my problems with Iron Man while losing what was so great about Iron Man in this sequel. It does its job as a fun, summer blockbuster but again, could have been quite a bit better.

I thought it was a little bit too much fun. The wimpsy villain, the unbelievably smart-arsed Russian. Nothing really as menacing as The Dude.
