Spoiler: 'Iron Man 2' end-of-credits surprise

Sometimes it pays to stick around after the end of a movie, especially the upcoming Iron Man 2. Movie website BadTaste is reporting that the Iron Man sequel will feature a scene after the end credits that could possibly set up the much-anticipated The Avengers.

BadTaste reported: "A 100% trusted source (NOT from the production/distribution, but very familiar with the movie)confirmed with us today that there will be an easter egg in IM2. It's an extra scene, just like the one in the first movie, after the end credits. We are able to tell you what's about! It's a scene about... Captain America and Thor!"

How epic is that? So, stick around people - camp there if you have to!

Relax, Fanboys: Black Widow WILL be in Iron Man 3



If you’re wondering if “Iron Man 2′s” best asset, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, will return for the franchise’s third outing, then wonder no more — she is, and Johnasson will reprise the character, making “Iron Man 3″ the third time she’s played the SHIELD superagent in three movies.

A casting notice for the upcoming film, set for a 2013 bow, now features more information on the returning cast.

Set to be written and directed by Shane Black (of “Lethal Weapon” fame), “Iron Man 3″ will, of course, feature Robert Downey Jr. back as Tony Stark/Iron Man, with Don Cheadle once again playing James Rhodes (having replaced Terrence Howard in the second movie). Gwyneth Paltrow, as Stark’s love interest Pepper Potts, will also return. And, of course, Johansson as Natasha Romanoff aka The Black Widow.

Here’s an interesting bit, though: Rhodes is described in the casting notice as “Stark’s personal pilot, chief aviation engineer for Stark International, and one of Stark’s closest friends”. So, does that mean in part 3 Rhodes (or Rhodey as his friends call him) will have given up his Air Force commission for private work? Sounds like it.

“Iron Man 3″ will commence shooting in the Wilmington, NC area and other locations in North Carolina from May 21, 2012 through September 7, 2012, so if you’re interested in getting a gig on the production, best start sending in those headshots now, kids.
