Rm98/m with so called 3.5mbps using Huawei mobile connect 3G+ usb modem, shared with only 3 people in office.

Using it at office here since our area here don't have freaking fixed line for 2 years + [even after been complained with other shop lots here to TMnut]...

Since we're using it in IT field [those involving stocks distributions, servicing computers, etc etc]...and use a lot in downloading drivers and pricing leaflets.

And today receiving that 'friendly threats' about 5GB allocation and wth, everything slowed even until slow than GPRS.

Hey, we're doing business here :/.

Gonna complain to celcom.

Satisfied with their service? NO...why?

- Frequent disconnections
- Sometime can't even connect to network [called careline, and they said my usb modem faulty? heck, its brand new...after few 'arguing', then they admits its their network service outage, wth...hey, be honest lah]
- Slow speed and not consistent speed at all.
- And now wth @ 5GB allocation? Care to ATTRACT so many customers, but...put a limits to them?
- Now HOW we supposed to do our stuff?...shyt celcom, gtfo.

Speedtest result today...barely can run the test...


Don't have other options here at Sarawak...either you stuck with Celcom or Screamyx, or rots with 56k [provided if your area got fixed line ]...

Don't subscribe to them at all, lousy service. Wait for DiGi... >_<!!!

The service itself not really stable, what to do again with fair policy :s

And they still 'greedy'-ly asks people to subscribes to their services yet their service is worsen day-by-day.

Seriously...eh...wait, they under TM...

oh...ok...

Pay RM68-98 per month...but receiving this kind of service...

I guess I'll use my DiGi EDGE, tho its a bit slow but the service not sucks like them.

I'm not paying to get capped or lowered to the speed even lower than GPRS each month

They're charging between RM68-98...they should profit much from this much, just a state its hell lots of users already.

They should upgrade their infrastructure as well if they can get so many customers...

Its like "ah long" in broadband now, they nicely 'blind' you with those packages and "unlimited so called stuff" ads, then after you in, they give you "nice threats".

No changes with my connection, still GPRS...

Someone mentioned that those who been capped, especially rm98/m with 3.5mbps should be capped around 1mbps speed...but it seems capped to lower than GPRS speed ?

Called their careline tho they said should be resolved by today, I think not everyplace resolved yet :s

Still with 56k or slower than gprs speed :/

This morning report, then this afternoon some celcom technician called me and they're now checking their tower site if got problem or not :s

No speed improvement at all after the techi called me

More or less my line is registered under Business also won't escape from their 'soooooo faaaast' connection

celcom 3g, your best way to frustrating and also wasting your money with speed lower than EDGE or EVEN GPRS, lousy customer support that is not honest and also ADVERTISING with UNLIMITED word in their advertisement and yet CAP you 'kaw kaw' with their 'friendly threat'

*sigh* no improvement at my speed at all.

*edits* Any idea on how to view the usage @ Huawei 3G mobile connect usb modem with Vodafone MobileConnect software ?

I can click on the "View Usage" button, but there isn't any visual display on my data transmission for each sessions

Whether you guys are D68 or D98 or whatever packages...5GB limit is...easily reach anyway..Go watch some clips @ youtube, get files @ IRC or even shares files with friends via msn or websites.

Facebook, friendster, full flash contents sites, news, web streaming online tv...thats it...you'll get 5GB within 1 week.

I guess those workers or whatever staff comes out with the 5GB limit per month is really an idiot staff, or he THOUGHT users will just use 3g for simple tasks such as read HTML TEXT, IRC or MSN chatting.

Screw you Celcom, you guys never seems understand whats the real broadband meaning are. And according to standards, throttled speed like what have other posts have mentioned that is 128kbps-64kbps IS NO LONGER CAN BE CALLED BROADBAND.



Someone smack their head, please...and if want to implement fair usage or something, at least raise the cap to 15GB~20GB

And also, business users seems can't run from this idiotic cap.

The CS never told me that I've reached 5gb cap or whatever when they said they gonna check the account anyway :/

128kbps...thats even slower compared to DiGi EDGE :/
