its possible to sync with 2 libraries,
but the contents that you sync must not be the same la of cause
in a sense like, pictures section you can sync from your desktop and your music section you can sync from your lap top

hmmm correct me if im wrong, i believe when i was on 1.1.2, i once saw an app on installer that translates to something like this "allows music to be played on 2 computers"

For 1.1.2 last time u can use swaptunes. In 1.1.4 u can use (if not mistaken) swaplibrary or something. Try to look in installer. This let u sync 2 different music library i.e media only.

yup just use tuneswap, but remember though that both libraries separate. need to swap again if wanna play songs from another library.

for swapping photos between libraries, there's another software (mmm...forgot what the name)

SwapTunes and SwapPhotos don't work in 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 coz it point to the /root folder and not /media folder. It can be use if u modify the script to point it to the right directory. SwapLibrary on the other hand are tailored to 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 and combines the function from both app. So u don't need one for media and one for pics.

Err ... the idea of swaplibrary is to sync with 2 pc or library. Not to share with 2 pc. U can only upload the music to iPhone and not download/copy it to another pc. This is to deter piracy ... so they say.

Have you tried not to share any applications then install a new itunes? That trick should works since files are written seperately.
