Hello everyone here, i would like to ask for advise about changing my original sound system to a better one like soundstream or kenwood.
any advise? i talked to a sales people today and he told me that i need to cut my door panel to fit in the 6inch speaker. im not sure what he is talking about but is this a must?? actually i prefer a set of speaker, set of tweeter and a amp. budget is around 1K.

hope that anyone here can help me out and im from PJ area. so its easier if you guys intro me to any shop around here.thanks

for me, i'm driving an old honda accord, almost same size like perdana i think. my stock speaker at the front is 5", my installer juz did a wood job ( adding a piece of wood to ur door panel to increase mounting depth and diameter. ) Then now i'm having a 6.5" comp set up front. For ur budget 1k there's a lot of possibilty, some entry lvl component system and a gud 2 ch amp. Try checking the Trade Zone for better deals and stuffs.

seems like u prefer to playing with brands rather than quality or sound...but for a start, u wont wanna get something that u cant handle the drivers...getting a component u need to check their specs..no point using a 200rms spk but u can only afford them 100rms...
