I'm going to the US soon for work and thinking of getting an Iphone there. Anybody know if i buy an iphone from the stores there will I be able to unlock it using iLiberty+ ? or could they be new stock that has stopped this unlocking/activation business?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you could definitely unlock the phone. In fact, this is what all of us have been doing. Apparently even with the new firmware 2.0, it could still be unlocked. So no worries smile.gif

Ah, having said that it is still a contract-based phone? Unlike the USD599 version?
