i m reading the article on hw to unlock the iphone..

i noticed

"I mistakenly checked the downgrading a 4.6 bootloader to a 3.9 fake blank bootloader (as you'll see in a picture later) but it didn't matter. There is error checking in this program."

so does dis mean when using iLiberty we dun go checking "downgrading a 4.6 bootloader to a 3.9 fake blank bootloader " ??

me too want to ask..wats the first ting to do when u get the iphone? hook it up to iTunes den run the unlockig s/w??

i found out that there is Petaling Jaya if i do a zoom onto Malaysia..
but if search via typing in..its nt there

when do v use DFU? wat about nxt time hv 1.1.5 norm restore or DFU?

yups..no file transfer to other phones via bluetooth..the file transfer via bluetooth oni happens with a fellow iphoner and with a 3rd party app..

even with a bluetooth headset there hv been sum no issues..no gurantee it'll work..

new f/w..hmmmm

u din bk up before restore(assuming dats hw u install 1.1.4)? normally there is option asking u if u 1 2 bk up or nt..

erm..but hv can be default? if when press on it..nth happens?

If you can get it(non -3g)..as everywhere no more stock edi..u shud hv no prbs unlocking it..

If 3g..its best u wait for sometime to wait for a "lab rat" to do it first

Hey there..u hv to do a restore first..dun forget to click on shift key as it allows you to select which version you want to restore..after dat den oni run the jailbreak and unlock process

By right just before peforming the restore, iTunes will prompt you to do a backup..but sum forumers didn't get the prompt
u may need to user 3rd part app like iPhone browser, iphone suite...

hmm..me contacts are fine once me remove the 6 infront of me no.

funny thing was sum of me no. had like (6012*******) changing it to (012) -******* solved the issue..all working like a charm..sms and incoming calls

i tink when u peformed the jb u din "tick" the items in the second tab..

When me use "SIMPORT" to transfer contacts..me contacts were 60*********...and some were just 012*******...the ones with the 6 in the front didn't appear in me sms or when dey called through..

i had to go through me list manually..take the 6 away...then everything went fine..and before all this..i had the AppSupport Patch installed..
