Hi guys I have read through the FAQ session, and I have 2 questions hope you guys can help me:)
So that mean if I ask my friend to buy the 599 USD 3G iphone from US and bring back to Malaysia, I will be able to use it in Malaysia straight away. I don't have to unlock/jailbreak anything?

If that Iphone has any problem, Can I bring to Singapore and repair (of course when Singapore have release the 3G iphone)? For my thinking, I think it is valid, but I need some expert to confirm pls...

Thank you all in advance  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

i would say:

if you buy from AT&T USD599, its not unlocked iphone. it is still lock with AT&T but just that you dont need to tied with 2 years subscription.

as for iphone 3G (if sg release) after unlocking is also another warranty issue as apple already said, unlocked phones means warranty void. so you must lock it back b4 sending warranty.

IMHO only ah...

yes.. speculations only. unless AT&T has the big header "UNLOCKED iPHONE 3G NOW!!! WORK WITH OTHER NETWORK"

but most likely they wont do so.. sweat.gif
