I have been honoured to test this one impressive cooler..and that is Xigmatek Achilles S1284 from ckhoong rclxms.gif

As there is already a review for this cooler, lets get straight to it..no more intro laugh.gif
this time, Achilles will have this gud ol' contender to be compared..namely a king for a year..(thats an old story laugh.gif)

Comparison Of Size

The height are not so different

but Tuniq is bigger..seems like twice of xigmatek..(its because of the midship design)

Added on April 29, 2008, 1:44 pmXigmatek leave half a centimeter for my ram in the 1st and 2nd slot..so cant use my AnG ram cooler unless i put it on the 3rd and 4th slot

So...

Its still acceptable as all 4 slots still can be use rclxms.gif

tuniq leaves some space over there..

this result is very good indeed..as my room temp is hot..im sweating doing this..
if the ambient temp is lower, i think there will be less 3~4c in comparison..

this result may vary from one another

bot fan runs at 1500rpm respectively

yeap... even my RS work better during higher load... i think its because of the direct touch...

@alive88,
nice review and i guess vincent is right after all... it really utilise all 4 pipes accurately on AMD platform... too bad u dont have a S1283 or not we can truely see the performance of 2 different xigmatek HSF on AMD platform... then only exciting... anyways thanks for sharing the info bro...

no prob..i was thinking of that too..but i think s1283 and tuniq tower wont have much difference in performance..but tuniq isnt performing at its best yet..coz the fan may run till 2k rpm..this one i put 1.5k as xigmatek runs at full speed wif 1.5k only..and also, this is to ensure they run in silence operation laugh.gif

i get ur point there bro but if u free u could show us the true performance of tuniq tower vs the s1284 laugh.gif.... but i think 2000rpm wont have much effect compare to 1500rpm... maybe 1c or 2c at most...
