Hi guys, just wondering if there's any fans of Taiwanese dramas that are based on Qiong Yao's work here. For those who don't know, Huan Zhu GeGe was one of her novels that were adapted into a drama series.

Although most of her novels have sad/unhappy endings but the storyline are way way superb compared to the modern god-knows-what dramas (imagine Qing Dynasty era girls with shiny lavender lipstick and sparkly eyeshadows *shudders*) that they are churning out now. I admit the tear-jerking scenes might be a tad too much but hey- the storyline makes up for it. Here's some of the MV of the shows based on her work.

One thing I noticed tho- they never make OP/ED as good as the older dramas.
