i just bought my iphone last 2 weeks
bcz tis is my first time to buy my phone myself
and all is from my 18years saving


i m feel so pain when my fren DRop my iphone !!!!
tat stupid f***ER grab my iphone and run from me , of course i will after him
then d second thing i saw was he droped my iphone on road !!!f*** !!! PAIN IN MY HEART!!

summore now my iphone battery cover (d 1 on our speaker)look like tertanggal ! canot put it back straight .....
i wonder is thr any store or shop can help me put it back ? i scare to take the cover off ,cz i saw sumthing is attaching wif the cover ........

cant help u...maybe u try see who got sell the whole cover la. i saw ppl selling the screen. cover pecah = not iphone, is normal phone. or maybe u see US can help change or not lor...

That's the reason why I never show all of my friends my iPhone. Only those close ones/best friends know about it.

Ask your that friend to pay for the damage and repair. Better pray there's no internal damage. Or you could just ask him to get a new one for you.

wah, student bu I-phone. this is what happen why I hate my friends for buying all those expensive phones and showing off...still it's a pain for smth that exp to drop...

I feel for you, and because I doubt your "friend" will be able to pony up the cash to replace your iPhone I fear murder will be your only recourse for satisfaction.

Although he didnt intend to drop your phone. But snatching it from you without your permission is already his fault, especially if he knows that its iPhone we're talking about here. Even if my friend drives a Vios (or even a Kancil), I dont simply snatch his keys and drive away his car...

Friend is friend and iphone is iphone. I think you have the right to ask for compensation.

I'm so sorry to hear that pal, better be careful and be around or next to your friend while they're handling your iPhone. That's what I do all the time, monitor what they're touching and doing. Well, last night I dreamed my iPhone can't start up and it's spoiled after I dropped it. After wake up, felt insecure and try to start up my phone, luckily it works and it's just a dream.

You ASK him to PAY for the iphone... he drop it so he should pay for it.. you cannot just let he do it like that... what ever happened, ask him to buy 1 for you, even though he dun have the money, ask him to sell his old phone and collect money just to buy new iphone, he still ur friend but its ur phone that is drop, and remember that here in malaysia there no warranty for that(even if no drop and unlock, stil considered no warranty,huhuhuhu) but its ur iphone mate, ask him to buy 1 new phone for you and you gave him ur phone...

try checking the cover of ipod touch
might be same and if so can replace with that
price wise, i have no idea though

not feasible. they are different in size and fastening. besides, if you were to use an ipod touch's base cover, you will have to pierce a hole for the 2mp camera.

Yup....it wont be fit. Hey, nokia2003, maybe you ought to send him the link to get the backpanel replacement from hongkong, since it's only about RM150. Hopefully it's not too expensive for him.


Note to students (at least for highschoolers): Don't get a too expensive phone. If you really want to get one, make sure you take good care of it and not for the purpose of showing off.

Of all the surfaces for a gadget to fall on, tarmac is the worst, obviously due to the sharp edges. If it's on marble floor etc or office carpeting, not that bad.

I think that the idea of asking the guy's friend to pay is just impractical if they are high schoolers. Ask the guy's friend's PARENTS to pay. There you go, step 1: get funds: completed

It's still not the end of your worries, sure, you can order a back housing from online websites but price issues aside, the iPhone is ridiculously hard to dismantle, a task that I don't recommend to first timers. You need the proper tools and skill to pry that thing open. It's not a Nokia XpressOn cover where you just snap it off and snap a new one back on..

So, finding someone who can do it for you is another pain in the ass... Good luck with your phone though, my condolences...

well when i first buy iphone i didnt get any casing from forumers and even untill now i still dont use casing..
but once awhile when i go out with my pants(no pockets)
i will use a cover bought in PM..LOL.. but that one works perfectly for me..
and i did droped mine on the road..luckly the casing protected it and nth happend on my iphone
