Upon purchasing the phone, the battery has full power in it rite? Izit okay if i do the 1st 8 hour charge with a full power battery?

I'm not sure if this question has been ask before. Basically i want to know what are the things that i need to take note before i hard reset the N82 or maybe upgrade the memory card size. I know that Panoman is one of the software that is pre-install in the phone's memory card. Will i be able to get that software back after formatting the memory card? Thanks
