I have a question...i'm currently using a pouch with my n82.
it is very similar with the one on n95.
however, this one has a magnet on top of it (near the speaker grill on the top). I'm sure most of u know it.
my question is, will the magnet have any effect on my phone? performance wise or whatsoever?

What u need to do is to make sure u put all ur songs in the SOUNDS folder.
1) Use a third party file explorer eg X Plore
2) Go to ur memory card
3) Select all the songs u want for the ringtone
4) Put in SOUNDS directory.
- U can make another folder in sounds if u want. u just have to make sure that it is under the ROOT DIRECTORY of
SOUNDS.

Anybody know where to get pouch with belt clip for n82?
I use a pouch b4 (ala-n95) but the quality is so bad and no belt clip. (read a few pages back about a forumer also complaining bout bad pouch quality from novacell.)
1 more thing, has anybody tried skinning their n82 or use the invisible shield?
I saw at low yat plaza, a stall by the escalator offering skinning services.
Asked the lady to skin my n82 n she was going to charge me RM 59.90
Is it a reasonable price? What other options are there for me to protect my device from scratches?
Screen protectors? Any recommended brands? Price quotations?

I agree. The phones are all the same, it's just the warranties given that differentiate them.
I personally think it's just a way for 'those people' to make us cough up more penny than we should.

I guess people still don't understand the concept of AP and ZITRON.
Zitron sets --> ORIGINAL
AP sets --> NOT original?

THEY DON'T. So all the phones manufactured by Nokia have the same components in them (GENERALLY; disregarding factories/regions/irresponsible sales person as variables.)

The difference between AP and the so called 'ORIGINAL' (Avaxx/Zitron) are the services and warranty only.
Eg;
1. AP warranty might only cover the charger for 3 months whilst Zitron/Avaxx MIGHT extend them for a year or so. (6 months as claimed by a forumer)
2. U MAY be able to get 1-1 replacement NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED if u are covered by Zitron/Avaxx but if covered by an AP warranty, u might have to go through world war 3 with the shops just to get a replacement LCD for free.
3. AP warranty, only covered by shops or branches of the shop u bought ur device ftom whilst Zitron/Avaxx get worldwide recognition.

So people, u can't just say AP-->Not original, bad quality, Zitron/Avaxx-->ORIGINAL, supreme quality.
This is NOT always the case.
I've owned a few (NOT ALL) AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS set a.k.a original but had problems with them.
I've also owned a few (NOT ALL) AP sets a.k.a NOT original set that work flawlessly.


So please don't make ur own conclusions.
Hope this clears things out for those who have vague ideas of what ORIGINAL AND NON-ORIGINAL sets are.
