Hi all, I'm planning to get this hp but there is some things i wanna clear off before making a firm decision before getting this phone. currently using n70. been serving me very good faithfully for 3 years. At first i was almost getting a n81 then thought of n78 but seeing the price of n82 AP is not much different compared to n81 ap.... What i'd like to know is:- 1) is the casing or cover (i dunno wat to call it) interchangeable ? 2) in your opinion silver or black nicer? 3) the memory card ca support up to how much GB? 4) is the auto-rotation thing same like accelerometer? 5) stereo speakers like n81 also? 6) support n-gage? (not much of a mobile phone gamer anyway, just curious ) 7) anybody else things the phone is a lil too long? I'm still currently at page 6 reading up. 105 pages so far so good. making me wanting to play with it around faster good job guys

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(EmoPunkz @ Jul 20 2008, 02:32 PM) haha im also wondering same as ur number 2 question. for me white like more shiny. but majority say black more nice. @@ my purpose actually is to see which color majority of LYN forumers like. seems like black wins. i've also decided on a black n82. hahaha » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Jul 20 2008, 04:46 PM) 1. casing is not interchangable..u hv to change it wif tools. the casing is quite expensive.ori ones of coz 2. this ques very personal..im using a black. btw, does new silver unit comes with updated firmware? 3. so far got member using 8gb..no prob. got org putih tested wf 16gb..no prob oso 4. 5. not sure but shud b stereo 6. yes but tiny buttons on this model makes gaming hard. im afraid u would bcome .. 7. long bcoz the screen is big. IMO if the screen size remains n it's shorter..u can hardly grab ur phone when u type will 8gb cause the phone to lag? if so, is the difference big or acceptable? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Jul 20 2008, 06:49 PM) ) is the casing or cover (i dunno wat to call it) interchangeable ? Technically, yes. It costs RM200+ to change it, and you need proper equipments. Not as easy as ABC
2) in your opinion silver or black nicer? Depends on individual as you said. I prefer titanium as got bored with the classic black look. Initial was a bit sceptical, but after some time, it does looks good to me compared with other Nokia models in black. Beauty in the eye of the beholder.
3) the memory card ca support up to how much GB? Technically, it can support up to 32GB micro-SDHC, which is the upper limitation on SDHC standards, until it is revised or the standard-organisation comes up with something new? However, current max is 8GB micro-SD, but the 16GB micro-SD should be released anytime now.
4) is the auto-rotation thing same like accelerometer? Yes, it comes default in N82.
5) stereo speakers like n81 also? N82 is stereo, but take note both speakers are located at right side, i.e. both speakers will face up when you rotate it 90ยบ anti-clockwise.
6) support n-gage? (not much of a mobile phone gamer anyway, just curious ) Yes.
7) anybody else things the phone is a lil too long? Yes and no. The length is alright for its width. However, the wasted space between the LCD and keypad should be shorten.
such good answers... now only at page 33 slow reader... hahaha
