Hi all, i'm totally new here. I just bought a n82 this recently and i saw the thread for setting up the garmin into n82. I've follow all the steps but not the removed steps.

Unfortunately, there is a problem with the final step "18) From the program, Goto Settings -> System -> Remote GPS -> Select 'Use Attached/Built-in GPS' -> Enable -> Done"

After installed, there are no "Use Attached/Built-in GPS" for me to select. Just the "Pair New GPS"

Please advise and give me the solutions.

If is not complete, where are the complete guide for garmin? please advise.

I've done the id card step but it still doesn't work. Or i just download the april 2008 Malsing Gold map without contribute POI, because i don't know how to contribute POI. I'm a newbie here.

I search on the cities or other method, but it doesn't come out anything. It says None Found.

I search inside my room, is this the major problem? or i need to go outside to search the location, quite confusing now.

Or the map is not compatible, please advise.

I've tried GM-MySInMXT and gmapsuppMXT. Both also doesn't apply.

I'm newbie to this forum and N82, what is the solution of both of the website that you provided?
