QUOTE(LittleCow @ Jul 26 2008, 08:53 PM) what is difference between N-series like N82 vs E-series like E66 ?? E series are usually for business line where require a lot of emailing , usually comes with qwerty keypad and dedicated email / contact button.I thought both also symbian phone.... ? both priced quite simlarly.... still haven't make up my mind. N series are more to casual entertainment like camera, music, gaming etc..... |

QUOTE(AlphaBeta @ Jul 27 2008, 09:09 PM) erm..SMS..this phone quite hard to sms..but if u get used to it..should be ok. N81 8GB + K800i 2GB M2 + Holux M-1000 GPS receiver battery life around 2 days..if u keep sms..i think 1 day ++ yes..it is good in entertainment. when n82 is compared with n81..1st problem is battery life of n82..very short. The D pad for n82 quite hard to use. Keypad too small..not nice to sms. But n82 has better camera(5mp with xenon flash)..it also has built in gps receiver.. So..if u think u can live without this 2 things...then go for n81.. I am living happily now hahah~ |

QUOTE(Fearless @ Aug 3 2008, 01:28 PM) Do u know N82 can support push mail like Blackberry? many n series got that function long ago ...As long as your email server supports IMAP protocol, N82 messaging can work as push mail. Gmail webmail already can support IMAP. Besides, you can migrate your company's email service to google email server and it's free for first 100 email accounts. I used to receive 100-200 spamming emails each day by using email server from a commercial hosting provider, but Google email server is effective to block out at least 99% junk mails. A free service can be better than a paid service, what else I can say anymore? i just got my n82 just now black |

QUOTE(Raz @ Aug 3 2008, 07:40 PM) That's the thing. I don't have an N82. It is one of the phone I am currently considering purchasing. If Nokia Maps is good, that is a bonus as I only have to carry 1 device. Can save on cost as well. Too bad the Garmin software requires external BT dongle or "pasar malam" workaround Ok please close this thread ya.... all move to the new one cause this one exceed 2500 post already~ |
