I just done *ahem* by modify some file to c:\sys\bin and can install all unsign thing .. just read from other forum

Well, im currently using the 2gb micro SD by nokia ... but i have install many things and spend lots of time to ahem it ...

if i upgrade to 8gb card, do i have to do everything again ? Can I just copy all from my old memory card and transfer to new one ? Any side affect ?

Anymore advise ?

If copy and paste to new microsd does not work, i better not work so hard on my current microsd ... else all effort wasted

Im using N82 .. I dont know what happend this morning. I can't seem to run my Garmin MobileXT anymore. I keep click it but it does not response.
I restarted my phone, take off battery and simcard and it not working ...

Im just afraid i might accidently mess up the files in Xplore .. but I dont think so cause Im able to run it yesterday.

Anyway to repair it ? Hope all pro can guide me

I know re-install is the last option ..

but any other way can I do ? Cause I have setup lots of thing inside my garmin...

anyway to tweak inside my garmin folder ?

Whenever i run my Garmin, it will shows Awaiting For GPS Signal for few minutes then only it'll get info ...

I notice my n82 will took at least 3~5 minute to get gps signal ..

it will keep awaiting for gps signal with 0~1 bar ... after 5 minutes only 3~4 bar ...

I tested now right beside open air space ... 10 minute no even single bar signal.

Then i switch to Tools > Connect > GPS Data > navigation

I check on satelite status, no even single signal ..

Could it be something wrong with gps receiption ?

Anyone can help my problem ?

Im using Garmin Mobile XT.

Previously Im getting 3~4 signal when im inside my room or in office(very near to big windows). But yesterday and today, im getting 0~1 bar only.
I dont know what happend as I din touch the setting anymore.

So i googled. Then I noticed about AGPS thingy.
I also noticed that my AGPS is enable by default. I check from Tools>Connect>GPS DATA>Positioning Setting > Assisted GPS.
So I disable it ...

Problem still same.


I tested via Garmin Mobile XT and Tools>COnnect>GPS Data and both can't detect any signal ...
Keep awaiting for gps signal for such long time and no result ...

Is it my gps spoilt ??

Wow, I really dont know it got charge me GPRS .. since I dont see (G) or (E) on top left of my phone
MIne got 4 option > Bluetooth, AGPS, Integrated, Network Based
So Network Based should be disable too ?

Hmm I did not try Nokia Map. Got the software inside phone but I did not download the map ....
I did try the preloaded thing like tools>connect>gps data>navigation
Even there also can't detect satelite ...

Yup im inside building ... but rpeviously it work all the time with 3~4 bar green. Today whole day 0~1 bar


On my way back home, I on almost 20 minutes while driving then only it comes to 3 bar ...

Another weird thing I notice, when I stop my car traffic light , my car pointer will suddenly show to Right and the whole map turn right ...
I did not turn my phone also ...
Then suddenly it show i move 10km/h and decrease ...

I search back previous post, some people get damn fast signal .. less than 1~2 minute green bar

If you using AGPS and Network Based, do you see [E] or [G] on your top left side ? I check on my tools > setting > general > positioning > access point is set to none, not Digi

yea i know that n82 is not dedicated device for gps , but it just seem to take much longer time compare to everyone .. dont know why lol

and i notice my garmin xt now didnt give me notification night or day time jor

I search and see that FlashLite is use to view youtube in n82. is it preloaded application ?

i did try to view youtube using opera but it did not give respon when I click the video...

Do i need to download FlashLite ??

anyone got idea for this ?
